I agree, while Felicia's acting was great, her role was pretty much the same: successful businesswoman turned miserable housewife. This is what she played all seasons. Bree was so diversed , had so many changes and Marcia was fantastic all the way through
I agree with you. Bree is more complex character whereas Lynette is just kinda similar to another stunning nominee Jane Kazmarek's character Lois in Malcolm In The Middle
@@fountainchain126 That’s actually the first time an Oscar would have been won for playing a trans character. Anyways, out of the nominees that year I probably would have given it to Keira Knightley. That wasn’t a strong year though.
Marcia should have won too... I remember Bree in the season 2, she was fearless. Her blank look and her face without make-up when she abandonned Andrew, when she was at the mental hospital, and what about her mourning after Rex's death ? I see her in black clothes, with her strict bun, sitting in a kitchen, waiting for nothing, with a glass of Chardonnay... She marked me when i was a child ; i found her so complexed and interesting... Yeah, I think Marcia did an amazing job (especially in season 1, 2 and 8).
Joshua Takahashi Agreed. So happy Felicity won and well deserved but sad that Marcia never got another nomination let alone a win. Her work in seasons 1, 2 and 4 deserved an award.
Im so glad she won an emmy for this. I just watched the show this year and Lynette was the best acted role out the gate. The way her voice woukdchange when she got emotiinal
I like her performance in the show but is a shame Jane Kaczmarek never won an Emmy for Malcolm in the Middle. Another actor gets the record to be nominated for every single season of the show?
How ironic that when she wins, the commentator mentions that she is the wife of William H Macy. As if this woman needed to be connected to somebody famous for the crowd to recognize her. Like she just won an emmy
You shouldn’t know how to 8 actress Marcia Cross. Teri Hatcher. Felicity Huffman. Eva Longoria. for desperate housewives Mary Louise Parker for weeds. Patricia Heaton everybody loves Raymond. Jane Kaczmarek for Malcolm in the Middle. Debra Messing for Will and Grace. Who will win Felicity Huffman
@R 97 Susan is annoying but adorable, thats kinda her character. Lynnette is just awful, a controlling, emasculating bitch, which is made clear in season 1 and gets worse over the seasons. But season 1 was Susan's. Season 2 it is Bree who shines, and Lynnette was given more importance in season 3.
Eva’s screaming always makes me cry. She was just so happy that her friend won. On the same year that she was criminally snubbed of a nomination.
I love how Eva is so excited that Felicity won the award lol
She was lying
@@fountainchain126 Outside of Teri, all the women really got along.
That must really suck that Eva didn't get nominated along with the other 3 ..
@@liteflightify I think at that period they got along. But later it became worse. After or during season 2.
I'm sorry but to me Marcia was the outstanding performance in all seasons, Bree was by far the most complex and interesting character to play

I agree now
Just warched the first season. Yes marcia deserves that!!!!
She should have won the Oscar too that year. Love Reese Witherspoon, but so undeserved.
Totally agree: Witherspoon's Oscar was a huge mistake, I love her, but her role pales in comparison to Felicity's.
I couldn't agree more.

Agreed
That moment she thank Willim H. Macy almost made me cry. What a lovely couple and how great to see they're still together almost 11 years later.
Then she went to prison

Pou mon this is for season 1. Marcia really was fantastic in s2
They were all wonderful - including Sheridan.
That VHS crackle! Brings me back lol. Thanks for uploading this.
This is the cutest speech for William. I love this couple so much)))
Felicity was just amazing in her role. I wish Marcia had won in another year, Bree was amazing.
Marcia deserved a win maybe not that year but she deserved.. Felicity is also a superb actress
I think it was between Marcia and her.
and Teri
It was between her and Teri. Teri won the Golden Globe before this. She was expected to win actually.
This is how you give a speech at an awards ceremony.
Marcia shouldve won in another season...
Joshua Takahashi Agreed. So happy Felicity won and well deserved but sad that Marcia never got another nomination let alone a win. Her work in seasons 1, 2 and 4 deserved an award.
Marcia in season 8 was incredible also
This is the cutest speech
Im so glad she won an emmy for this. I just watched the show this year and Lynette was the best acted role out the gate. The way her voice woukdchange when she got emotiinal
My favorite on the show ! Love her
And the nominees for the college admissions scandal are.
Happy birthday felicity from italian boy live in rome and I m fan of desperate housewives
As deserving as this was, Marcia Cross should had won. She was really the MVP of the show.
How was Eva Longoria never even nominated?
titus saha love Eva but she wasn’t the standout on that show. She has great comedic timing though!
I like her performance in the show but is a shame Jane Kaczmarek never won an Emmy for Malcolm in the Middle. Another actor gets the record to be nominated for every single season of the show?
So who did she bribe to get the award?
ChildOfTheFlower too soon
The other nominees from the show helped her out, because Felicity had great scenes in each of their submissions as well.
How ironic that when she wins, the commentator mentions that she is the wife of William H Macy. As if this woman needed to be connected to somebody famous for the crowd to recognize her. Like she just won an emmy
Marcia had the funniest submission, but Felicity was the best actress among the three of them.
On TV In OZ Were
Seven Network : Desperate Housewives
Nine Network : Malcolm In The Middle
Network Ten : Everybody Loves Raymond
and if she had just won the oscar for transamerica I would have been satisfied.
Felicitous.
Jane lost Emmy every time 😭

Teri Hatcher rises. :)))
Her character was beyond unpleasant.
👏
Undeserved. Teri should ve won and Marcia should ve won the following year
@R 97 Susan is annoying but adorable, thats kinda her character. Lynnette is just awful, a controlling, emasculating bitch, which is made clear in season 1 and gets worse over the seasons. But season 1 was Susan's. Season 2 it is Bree who shines, and Lynnette was given more importance in season 3.
Why Gabby wasnt nominated? Of all ghe housewives, she was the most funny to be honest. Racism in hollywood yes
Marcia should have won
Transamerican
How is Desperate Housewives a comedy?
Teri looks like she's expecting to win. Cringe!
Michele Schettino She won the Golden Globe before this so yeah I would have expected here to win too.
@@charlessagustin and she also won the SAG, and it was her big career comeback so yeah she was the predicted winner
And she should ve. Season 1 was basically all about Susan
She claps hard for Felicity, what are you talking about?
Why was Eva not nominated ? Smells like racism
Criminal wins Emmy
