I agree with the analysis of the broadcast. I'm usually the first to complain about NBC's coverage, but I thought they did a great job last night. I hope this is a new trend for them!

1 of 4 comps in, 1 score can be dropped, but the PH mishaps really shook things up. PH problems with Khoi/Fred/Yul, VT problems with Asher/Paul/Curran/Yul, HB problems with Paul/Curran, SR weirdness with Donnell/Shane. I don't know, I expected problems, but the amount of big errors on events that athletes would be expected to go up on was very high. I think most of us expected Brody to push someone off from the '23 Worlds team because HB is so critical, but the Paris team might look more different than just that.
Going into this I was expecting an eventual Paris team of Khoi, Fred, Yul, Asher, and Brody with a chance of Paul or Curran pushing Brody, Khoi or Fred off, or Donnell pushing Asher or Yul off.
Stocks up: Brody, Stephen. Stocks down: Fred, Khoi, Asher, Paul, and Curran. No change: Yul and Donnell.
Last I'll just say that all the athletes seem like really good people and wish them the very best! TY for your reporting Kensley!

I am happy for Brody and I am hopeful that he can keep it up on Saturday. Fredrick did a a good job but, he can do much better. Good Luck on Saturday. I am also happy for Donnell. Please keep it up. If Colt Walker does well on Saturday and at Olympic Trials, he should be put on the team, as an actual Olympian, not as an alternate. Khoi did a decent job. I hope Paul steps it up on Saturday.

I’m surprised that they didn’t mention how many people were having trouble with landing their vaults. I saw so stressed the athletes were going to tear muscles/ligaments with those sits. 😰
