I think there's a lot that's good here in adapting the characters, but the actual acting is meh at best. Forced and stiff in a way that belies the amateur execution.
I think the costumes are on point given their budget, the cinematography is great in most shots, and the effects are pretty good too.
@@Blackronin357 it has a certain charm to it though you have to admit. I don't know, I got mad respect. I like seeing stuff like this. Yeah it's not the best acting you've ever seen but it's good stuff and it'll only get better from here!

Never saw Jujutsu Kaisen as a anime before but after seeing this I want to go watch it!! This was great I can't wait for the second film to drop!!
As a picky nerd when it comes to adaptions, well done job. I could pinpoint exactly where in the anime/manga was referenced from the set pieces. Toro and Gojo actors were spot on for the vibe they give, and Nobura acting while short was really good too. My only critique is Fushigoro's actor kinda does the generic cool anime voice too much and in my humble opinion its missing a little bit of that up tight yet seemingly relaxed vibe depending on the situation he's in. When he's attempting to do his domain however, that was really good acting from the actor with his expressions. Anyways you could tell there was love by the actors and directing which is what a lot of adaptions miss out on, great job on the set pieces and cosplay designs too.

Yo, this is quite possible the best y'all have ever done! It was hype, funny and super thrilling overall! I think the casting was excellent; I felt like they portrayed their characters really well. And the VFX in the fight scenes were SO GOOD! The whole thing was all around incredible!

Unlike other adaptions, race is very important in the casting for full metal chars. Scar whole character arc is about fighting as a terrorist due to the racism his country and his people felt. And its evident that Al and Edward are based on euro-centric white people, other chars are homage to chinese culture and etc. Its one of the few shounens that needs proper representation for its casting. Also if we disregard that and talk about the whole vibe it felt like harry potter instead..

I feel like why several of the black characters and some of the other characters fill the roles well is because they make it more realistic and not try to be so animated like the characters are in *anime.
That is key to live-action doing well I believe. Making it realistic and not try to imitate the animated characters to hard. Or actually make a live-action show that draws inspiration from an anime and is not identical.
This is the second best parody of an anime that I've seen. The first was UA: LA Pilot episode 0 (My hero academia). The cinematography, choreography, weight of each punch and movement, dialogue were all at least a 9/10. So if I'm comparing this to something like that then this was extremely well made. Congrats and look forward to seeing the rest.
