Wow I didn’t realize the piccolo sound is so piercing that it’s best to wear earplugs while practicing. Makes sense but kind of crazy too!
Ya you gotta. No matter the level, it's wise for your ear health.

Wonderful! Like adjusting an instrument so that it plays really well - where you are part of that instrument and the adjustments are made to you!

I played the flute in 8th grade and I have been plying trumpet sense but i’m getting a piccolo to start on it😅
Hi, thank you for the video, it was very helpful! I just started piccolo a few weeks ago and I'm struggling so much, I already play the flute though. Could you tell me what kind of ear plugs you would recommend?
why do i sound so airy and loud 😢
Try moving your lip further up and closer to the hole (a little different from your flute embochure), relax your lips - don't tighten up, and support your air from the diaphragm. I am not a teacher - just one learning like you! ❤
Lot of support and your embouchure has to be right earplugs .
why do i sound different from others? i can hear them from a distance, but when im the one using it even on the 3rd oct. my sounds so thin and cannot be heard from a distance
Is flute and piccolo the same instrument
Nope! But they are in the same family, and are very similar. A piccolo is like a small flute, it plays higher and the technique is a little different but the fingerings and general technique is the same.
