When it comes to ebay listings yeah, shady people love to lie on ebay. When you buy something in bulk from goodwill labeled parts than your not really getting scammed. They're definitely not selling you a palate of working consoles....But then again anyone going to goodwill expecting to get "quality" just LMFAO.
My friend works at GW, apparently they have a policy to remove hard drives from computers. "For privacy reasons" I assume they actually want to resell considering I've found people who have purchased some hard drives from GW with info on them. So much for "protecting privacy" 😂
This is why! They take them out to sell them off in lots as “untested” kinda trying to make more money but the lots usually go for pretty cheap… so idk how they’re making anymore vs just leaving the hard drives in. 😂 🤡 over at goodwill
Tbf, it does have a paper taped on it saying, for parts/repair. The fact any of them worked, AND some had games? Id say it wasn't too big a loss, definitely got a heap of supplies if you wanted to fix anything up hahahahaha.
Goodwill calls them untested/parts or repair. They don't test them but call them parts or repair to cover themselves. The sketchy part is them clearly tossing stuff in the box with no care (hence all of the consoles that are physically broken) and then very clearly removing all of the hard drives from the 360s with no mention of them being removed
The sequel to the most anticipated and exciting goodwill console lot is finally here! It’s sad to see many of these consoles just piled up like they’re straight up junk.
To be fair the vcr xbox one is completely worthless you can do the exact same stuff on a series x/s but I agree on the other ones those 360s and all those call of duty copies

As cool as it is to come across pre 2000s consoles, post 2000s consoles end up being much better for the testing videos I make on these consoles. On newer consoles (primarily wii, 360, ps3, and newer) people tend to leave lots of their old save data, personal data, discs inside consoles, etc. And it's content gold.
