Also as flexible rubber surrounds. The rubber surround 4”AF-86B can be found at: www.repairyourspeakers.com/en/surrounds-by-size/2-4-inch/4-af-86b-rubber-surround-for-repair-speaker/a-2640-10000068. (‘AF’ = AudioFriends, we designed them and let them being manufactured.)

      Good afternoon,
First thanks for your response. The glue we use can be best explained at: www.repairyourspeakers.com/en/frequenty-asked-questions/19-more-about-the-glue-we-use/c-49
Further, we have seen on RUclips that often is used ‘Aleene's tacky glue’. It’s a kind of PVA glue that dried op stays flexible en becomes clear of colour. I think it’s not that strong as ours, but on RUclips it’s often successfully used especially with mounting foam surrounds.
      Best regards, Fred

How long drying time for the glue before it's safe to be reassembled?

Good evening, thanks for your reply. If you mean the drying time before the speaker unit can be replaced in the cabinet and the glue is at it's strongest, it's about 24 hours. Of course you can replace the speaker unit earlier. If you mean the drying time of the glue before the surround is mounted, that depend on how thick the glue layer has been placed, the temperature while refoaming, etc. Best is to look at the cone of the speaker. If about 1/2 till 2/3 of the glue has become colorless, it's time to place the surround as in the video. See also: www.repairyourspeakers.com/en/video-manuals-for-repair/glue-brush-fluid/c-3. With best regards, Fred

@@audiofriends254 Thanks the the advice. Listening to refurbished Bang & Olfson CX 100 speakers as I write this. Great video and simple to understand. I took plenty of time, and didn't rush the preparation work. Turned out perfectly. Highly recommend Audiofriends.
