Pointer: Perhaps add a circle around the icon you are going to click and leave it on for a few seconds so I don't have to constantly rewind the video to see where your mouse clicked. Thanks so much for this - it's awesome (if not a little complicated!). I would suggest just one small change: the way you create a new "slide". With the way you did it, all the clip names and thumbnails on the timeline are all the same, which makes it hard to keep track of things. Instead, I find it better if you just drag the new image onto the timeline, convert it to a Fusion clip, then copy all the Fusion nodes from the first clip to the second clip, then replace the media nodes with the second image. This way you have the correct thumbnail and a unique name for each of the clips / slides.
Is there any chance of repeating this with Resolve 18 as it doesn't seem to work on 18, and I've religiously followed step by step, but there seems to be a couple of very minor differences. I'm at a loss, and this is one of the best photo slidesshow videos I've seen. Thanks in advance

The hardware does not allow the use of fusion in the program, but I have a fusion studio offline. Question: Are your lessons suitable for use in a fusion studio?

As usual, great tutorial, however, I think this is only practical for a limited number of photos. Could mini-videos be used instead for the media in? That way 3 or 4 photos could be displayed within each effect. Just a thought. Or even just a slideshow of videos of any subject.

Oh, I just realized that you have to hit space after you write the last letter in your text so the last character can be affected by the effects you apply!

Yeah, The GIF's won't get imported. You would have to convert them into mp4. How do you do that? Option 1: Online video converts option 2: There's an open code software for Windows named HandBrake
