It's actually a four part series! I just found out Never Again is the first part to all of it! 🖤
Some people are confused the first time they see this video. The father is looking for his missing daughter. Then the cops are looking. Then his best friend is also looking for her. The cops finally find her dead in the river. The father goes to a shaman woman and she helps him see who did this to his daughter. It was his best friend! So he goes to his house to beat up and kill him. The friend is dragged to the river/lake and killed there. When he dies next to the river or lake, her soul is free and she ascends to heaven. Very powerful video and song. I loved the song even before seeing the video.
I'm an 80s girl so, I am into classic rock and funk. Breaking Benjamin is my favorite "new" band. All of their songs are pretty deep. BTW, the Voodoo lady gave him the ability to see who killed is daughter (his best friend) He turned into the monster because of the anger he felt towards his friend.

A lot of people write off rock and metal for the screaming, but many of the songs have heavy subject matter that really backs up the forceful delivery. Kudos to you for analyzing it in that way it usually speaks of the darker side of reality much like rap
That's why I love BB so much. There's some screams, but the way he will contrast it with everything cutting and going to a smooth voice right after is just so awesome to me.
You can tell when a BB song resonates with someone and it did here well done bro, I'm a really good friend of Ben burnley and love seeing his music impact people keep rocking brotha!!!! 👍
BB does that to people. I never thought I'd be someone into any "screamy" music, and then I found BB. Granted, this is one of their harder ones, and I don't really like full on metal scream music. But I def enjoy BB or Skillet levels of screamy.
Basically the dudes daughter went missing, they can't find her so he's pissed at the cops (slamming the keyboard), etc. His best friend goes and helps him look for her, still can't find her.
He finds the witch in the woods, and basically sells his soul so he can find who took his daughter. Ended up being his friend from the beginning of the video (the guy has the red ribbon that his daughter was wearing), so he drags him out to the woods to kill him and get revenge.
The end I'm assuming is that he was fully consumed by the hate.

Breaking Benjamin is my favorite! You definitely feel what Ben is trying to get across! This video is the first in a trilogy. Up next is Torn in Two, then Tourniquet. Please do those! I’m subscribing, I like the way you give every genre a chance!

I get it. It happened to my granddaughter, three years old. You are on your own to find her, and you must ROAR to find her. NO cops, no CPS, no court, no lawyer can help, it is totally on you. We, as a family didn't know where she was, we were so lost, so obsessed with that question, where is she, where is she...This story does have a good ending. I hired a detective, and even though months had pasted, he found her. The court had a habeas corpus (enables cops to break and enter anywhere). The cops/courts returned her to her father. Never give up. ROAR.

It's a great song. But if I knew someone was starting on them I'd go Diary of Jane, I will not bow, or so cold to start.
