I assume you're using the Braidol system. Even the packaging is the same. My model is the TR-50. So far I am pretty impressed by it. I was a bit apprehensive about getting them at first since my aim is to connect my STV TV box in my living room to my bedroom TV. So there's that issue of obstruction. But they actually work. Although I do see a bit of jitters in the image but they're not significant and pretty negligible. My only caveat is that both parts get hot very quickly even though they're using 5V DC on 2A power each. Even when I power them off they're still hot. So I'm not sure if the HDMI ports are the contributing factors to the heat even though they're not powered.

But does it only mirror the laptop or can it act as an extended monitor?
Like an extending monitor off of the whatever is displaying on the laptop screen?
