Right so I guy who consistently lied about the fiscal opportunities of Brexit and wacked them on a bunch of Buses to convince the intellectually vulnerable we would be better off is the politician of our generation. I don't hate the guy but the last thing I want is for Farage to be priminister.
Farage had nothing to do with the buses. Brexit has been mishandled by politicians and civil service who did not want it but had to given the wishes of the public.

I agree that if he were Tory leader, he'd probably win an election. However, he'd have to win a seat first. And no matter which seat he chooses, the anti Farage vote in the constituency will ensure he never becomes an MP. So, he might become Tory leader in some weird rule change where the Tories decide that the leader doesn't have to be an mp. But I can't see the UK constitution allowing an unelected person to become prime minister
@@dmctv7620 there's no such thing as a safe Farage seat. Tactical voting would be on steroids in any constituency he stood in. He'd literally have to have 51% vote share to guarantee winning. Even somewhere like Clacton or Boston, he's not going to get that.

I'm not convinced. UKIP got almost 4 million votes in 2015 and just one MP. The British system heavily favours the big parties.
