@@E36andE46vlog yea this blue cable is for the amp to work and it’s a 2gb ram and 32 disc. It’s a little slow for other apps but the Bluetooth and sound still good quality

Make sure you connect the blue cable to 12v, the cable says amp on it and make sure the whatever 12v cable you connect it to only has power when the ignition and car is on. Make sure it doesn’t have any power when the car is off or else it’ll drain your battery and the unit won’t turn off even when the car is off

Hopefully your head unit lasted longer than mine did. There were several features on my head unit that are DOA , it was still under the “ factory warranty “ but it’s a joke and the agents are a Joke…. Be forewarned if you buy one of these head units , everything is cool unit it’s not……
I have the same head unit eonon and the radio can hardly pick up any radio stations and when they do they are poor,dab radio does not connect apart from that all works

I'm planning on getting the GA9450 which is similar but has a more stock look. I'm pretty sure I need to by the same extension that goes from a 17pin to 40 pin which is another 60 bucks. I was wondering if Apple Carplay is necessary to just play music or can you connect through Bluetooth for that. I really dont want to have to buy their Apple carplay dongle as it would be another 60 bucks to my total.
You don’t need Apple CarPlay, the Bluetooth works for any phone, the Apple CarPlay is just to have the iPhone look on the head unit but it’s no necessary

@@straightsixgarage2178 Ok, mine installed is pulled in a little more than flush with the dash. That could be why mine isn't fitting around. I also have ZHP trim which is a little thicker with the plastic on the back which is causing some of the problem also.
You have problems with it being slow on using Google Maps upon start up? I know it needs some time to start, but mine is still extremely slow the first 5-10 minutes if I try to use Google maps lmao
Find an app or a dongle so you can use apple carplay or android auto that way it's using your phones processing power and not the headunits.... I had the same issue almost threw the headunit in the trash cause it was so slow, now I just plug my phone in and do everything with android auto

Plus the wires sticking out of the backseat in the trunk.... it might be some extra work but tucking your wires is sooooo worth it. Makes all of your mods look and feel more oem and not to mention it's going to help you in the future if you ever decide to sell the car
How’s your AC unit running? I installed this a few months back and I think I disconnected something since I get little air blowing through the vents. Like something is blocking the air flow. Good video 👍
Ac works fine, the head unit doesn’t really get in the way, I would just take it off again and check because I’m sure maybe something is in there blocking the air flow
Hey Miko, My car's AC had a similar problem sometime after I had the EONON head unit installed. I'm not sure what the root cause was, but I think it's something worth looking into. A bad AC does not pair well with the summer heat and it cost me a lot of money to repair.
@@zuleyka_yt I actually figured it out. I forgot to plug in one of the wires that go into the hvac controls, there are 3 that are near each other and one by itself. The one by itself is the wire that controls the ac vent actuators.
So you can connect your hotspot but the best way is to set up Apple CarPlay to your iPhone. The cable and instruction is in the box. It connects your phone and runs all of your iPhone apps really quickly

@@ownalicous1 if your car come with factory with navigation system then yes you need the extended harness. If you don’t have it, you just buy the Eonon kit by itself and it’s pretty easy plug and play

Is this cable running to the amp or gps module in the trunk? Would I need to replace this wire with the r50 extended harness?

The blue cabel is your remote. It only put out a signal the headunit is on (dont put it on 12v, its a signal wire)

It drained my car battery and I had to jump it off multiple times. Haven’t found a fix yet

You definitely should have put that wire round the sides instead of through the middle. 😭
You have to remove a lot of stuff to get it through the side, not worth the extra time and possibly breaking clips
