I dont think there's anything wrong admitting an adult or even a young adult played with a lego set aside from building and shelving it. Play is one of the main pillars of a lego product's purpose with building shortly following. If you drop one of those aspects, you lose an experience and reason to enjoy the product.
I remember years ago on livestream after building the Volcano Base from Agents how it was fun to just play with the set, making goody voices and funny non-canon names for weapons and people. "Sometimes i just wanna play with the toys" i later clipped.
I cherished this set ever since the day that I received it as a gift. it's a very formidable buildable figure model, even if I had to rebuild it a few times
It’s super sad that themes like this aren’t around anymore, i miss power miners so much i am only two sets away from having a complete line of sealed sets
Such a great set! LEGO certainly killed it back in the day with their original themes

Slugger made a great video about power miners a couple weeks ago and my comic remake was featured in it!
I had this, and the Boulder Blaster as my only Power Miners sets, and they were enough to got me into the theme. Today I still think this Crystal King is one of the best designs and more eye-catching toys out there.
