I would recommend watching Waggles video. TLDR he says that dust and shipment value is actually a pointless stat for shipment amounts. Instead sending more different kinds of crops is what influences the rewards the most.
I'm always sending all different crops, as you see in the video. If dust only multiplies risk, which is hard to imagine from a design perspective, I am more inclined to believe it is a bug than anything else. Or just not true at all. Because it makes no sense. You should either get more, or rarer loot.
the following three pieces of evidence strongly contradict the theory of port favour/destination-ports leveling up: first, keeping your own shipping level constant, there was no change in shipping quotas after >50 successful shipments. then upgrading port all the way to max without sending any shipments the quotas jumped up to top tier after just one shipment. third, shipping one order after every port upgrade immediately upgraded quotas to the next tier range - no build up of multiple shipment needed. i think what happened was ziggyd's group did not control for the port upgrades they were making as they were sending out shipments so shipping level became a confounding variable in their analysis. if you upgraded your port as you sent shipments same time it would look like number of shipments would have an impact but once you control for shipping level it doesn't.
My port was maxed before I started this video. I can believe it isn't true, but it surely looks like the percentages increase every time I complete an entire shipment. There is probably a maximum, looks like 150% so far. The theory that ports provide more rewarding quotas as you ship more seems true looking at my own footage, where shipments were the only variable. But again, I didn't extensively test. The theory seemed to match my experience, that's all. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it
Do you have any suggestions for a SECOND SSF build that can do ubers/T17s this season? I've got a Heiro and am at 2 voidstones, grinding for a 6L, and trying to decide what extra stuff to look out for
I'm not sure yet honestly. I haven't looked into builds too much yet. My RF character is finally sort of where I want him to be, so for now I'm blasting maps and having a great time. Lightning strike seems like a fun second character with lots of scaling.
@@Thyworm I've been trying out a LS slayer after a ton of research, given my gear I am trying to start with a reaver sword like a few of the high levels on poe.ninja. Not sure how to eval whether and when I should switch to 1H+shield.. also not sure how to farm The Taming well or craft well (hah)
good to know; i guess port level must just gate shipping quotas then because 54 shipments no change in port quotas is not just bad rng - you must need to upgrade your port too. it's important information or else ppl can waste days thinking they can focus on other upgrades first like i did. thanks for the reply in any case; i love league start because it means a flood of new thyworm videos to brighten my day with! ❤
can you make a ssf betrayal guide ? im not doing it efficiently and idk why. it seems every streamer gets %300 inc exp in safehouses but i always get %100 etc

Is this still accurate after the 3.25.1 patch? I'm finding it very hard to get enough ore/bars to send frequent shipments, I'm wondering if there is a better way to send shipments if we're only after runes/tattoos.
I'm basically right now simply sending 1% of each resource I have to Riben Fell, which in my case amounts to around 500k shipments, and. I'm getting a good mix of loot still. I think aiming for that 300-500k still works, for sure. I'm not sure that after the changes it is the best thing to do. I just don't see myself spending it all otherwise, so the 1% worked great

I personally am just sending 25 verisium and 5000 dust to Te Onui and getting back between 2-3 uniques per ship, hoping for a T0.
Are you getting any t0 or t1 uniques? What’s the best you’ve found so far in ssf through shipping?
Why 5000 tho? U either go 550 or 8000

Dust is a multiplier. That’s never pointless. If you were going to get 2C with no dust, but send 2x multiplier with of dust, you now get 4C.

I'm not sure yet, I haven't focused on uniques much. Te Onui provides uniques, if you look at the cheat sheet.
