G'day everyone!
In this short and sharp episode I bring you all up to speed on why I've been missing in action for the last month on RUclips, and test out the new Yamaha outboard motor that's pulled me out of that conundrum!
I touch on all of the details in the video, so I'll keep it simple in the description!

Well to be honest I’m glade you didn’t get to catch a Squid. I’m still trying to get over you catching all those Snapper off of Peron and we caught 2 small black arse one bay from where you were. Just taking this piss so to speak. Can’t wait to see the Sunday video. Of course Mandurah is the place to get your boating needs. That’s where I live. Rohan another great video but I’m thinking I need to practice the boat launch and retrieve of my Drone as well. 👍

new sub here , have exact same engine, its a great motor only problem i had was it sucked up some sand in fuel cooler made it run shit, but easy fix just had to clean out

just bought the same f40la for my clark tinny and yes, no hours yet also so realllly interested how it goes.
Awesome mate, I'm sure you'll love it! What motor did you have previously that you're replacing? That will determine just how much you'll appreciate the change, if it all. There's a lot of pros and cons to 2 strokes and 4 strokes, but overall I am happier so far with the new motor and it's modern technology and reliability for peace of mind 😁
@@BurrupAndAway i had a 2020 yamaha f25 4 stroke, great little motor just wanted to go abit quicker so sold it and bought the 40 im sure i wont be disappointed cause its a yammy afterall. Going out to the river near home thursdy to run it in, get the first 2hrs in atleast then i'll be ready to open her up abit more when out at sea. Gunna take the breakin (first 10hrs) abit easier tho. Cant wait to she how she goes on your rig eh, be boat wise and dont forget the life jacket and a couple of great northerns.
