Akthually it's pointless in this map.. I was playing as night elf race and had a bunch of upgraded and pricey units, but murloc spam was better anyway... Just get bunch of Spearman and healers and youl get unbreakable wall that nothing can defeat
He waits to upgrade until he has enough units to warrant the value of the upgrade. For example, 200g unit for 200 damage vs 200g upgrade across 10 units for 10 dmg per. I doubt he’s being specific about it, but that’s his general approach to upgrades in most games

@@boomisanhaur yeah not going to get anywhere if you don't invest in anything.
Of course none of the other players gets the same level of fuckery since every boss has a chance to get one of many *_quirky_* abilities and the 'terrain spawns' have a chance to spawn in your army's spawn area.
These *_quirky_* features make the map look more like a Lucker map than a decent auto-battler.

Try competing against other players when goblin land mines spawn, in your army's spawn area.
The ranged upgrades do work, when you check their stats like how fast they attack it says at the bottom that they need lvl 18 ranged upgrades, you won't see any benefits before that.
Such an old map and no one told WTii that spamming cheap units early is good. Not saying it is perfectly balanced or anything, but to rush few higher tier units instead of spamming low tier units early is simply the worse strategy. Blaming the game for that personal oversight isn't fair.
It's like hopping onto dota and building nothing but intellect on your agility hero then blaming the game when the strength hero beats you. It's just a worse strat.
Logic would determine quality > quantity.
If I spammed weak units and then leaked then people would say the opposite and say "you should of made decent units instead of rubbish... no wonder you leaked!"
Love this map, unfortunatelly it lags quite hard on later levels. I hope it gets a new version someday

Kil'jaeden has attack speed of "Very Slow" 57:27
And now he have attack speed of "Slow" 1:22:59
Could've pushed more upgrades and made Kil'jaeden your ultimate auto attack dps

Edit 2: Maxed attack speed but now never saw if it's fast
demons are definitely a late game focused race their early game relies alot on inting the early game (or lives on survival) for economy and coming back in the mid-late game with their ability to counter most god tier units in the game due to their accessable chaos dmg (and splash) alongside their strong frontline
as for the landmines they're randomly placed and different effects occur on different battlefields you select by vote at the start
In your position i would've upgraded income hard especially since you weren't getting half the wave because of mines

Kinda sucks that your range was bugged. You had better tank units but couldnt hit anything random had. Random was lucky.
he lucked out and he knows it but it was a fun game, just a big shame about the awful lag

Love holy war, but yeah it looks like this was very imbalanced. Random had a bunch more gold than you did in the end, pretty close unit value but significantly more upgrade value. Looks like you were right about the greed being so absolutely busted. I wonder if it’s worth even building a unit at the start or if you sink all gold into greed for the first hour of the video?
I feel like you just have a tiny bit at the start then starting losing at lvl 3 onwards whilst you pump greed
@@WTiiWarcraft makes sense to me, enough to get to 5 then full greed. Helps though of course not having land mines right in your mid that steal your kills :)

Well, that arena is BS, Kil'jaden bugs out half of the time and runs in front or refuses to attack and the ranged huntresses don't benefit from the range bonus upgrade when whey should, so I'd say it's the map's fault for being shit.
