This can be fixed with a single zip tie, not where it contacts, but in the back, where the cable housing comes out of the chain stay. Hold the cable housing very tight and use needle nose pliers to pull the zip tie very very tight. This will prevent the cable housing from moving forward. Alternatively, you can buy a thin piece of carbon fiber, cut it to size like your piece of aluminum, roughen up the paint and carbon fiber with some sandpaper and epoxy it in place. Clamp it down while it cures.
I’ve recently ran into the same problem, but On the opposite side with the brake cable. I don’t know if the brake cable can be fixed, it gets pulled toward the rear wheel when the suspension flexes. This will cause you to lose steering range when the brake cable gets tight.
I got this same bike in March 2020 i am replacing it with a Spearfish. The bike it ok i just don't like how it's balanced. I am 6'2 and road the large it fit fine. the front brakes did not work that well the guy at the local bike shop said who ever assembled it touched the pads.
Great info thank you for sharing. I just ordered this bike so when ever it comes in. First mod I'll be doing to it.

Does GHOST have a fix on this yet? I hate to spend extra money on a design flaw.
Not that I know of. Interesting that the 27.5” version of the SL AMR has a different design that’s not an issue. I’m not sure which came first.
Thank you for that information. I sent an email to GHoST regarding the issue with the cable. When I hear something back I will post it.
Thanks
Great idea for a fix! How are you liking it so far?
So far, so good! I’m thinking hot glue or maybe RTV silicone alone might be enough, but the heat shrink tubing gives a little extra security.
LakeLake123 ahhh def doing RTV I don’t know how I didn’t think of that!
...on my ghost hmr the cable pops out 4 months ago3😏it was really a f***ing mess
