A little info about scourge, so basically he just an anti version of sonic. Original his name was “anti sonic” with him just being sonic but with black clothes, shades, etc. after the reboot of the Archie comic- he got a power boost from the master emerald (the emerald knuckles watches) which turned him green- he renamed himself “scourge.” & the purple form you saw him use was his super form. Basically think of him being like the sonic attempt of goku black but more arrogant & thinks of himself to be a king and everyone is his peasants.
The reason why Sonic and all the characters that lost to raphtalia is due her being a juggler. She constantly doesn't let her opponents land on the ground, causing them to not have a chance to fight back or perform specials. And the biggest reason for her opponents getting attacked in the air is not only her sword combinations, but her counter where she gets behind her enemy to deliver an upward stab attack.
BRING FRISK AND SPIDEY BACK STRONGER PLEASE (Also in the lore Scourge is an Evil Sonic from a alternate Zone , which is basically another word for dimensions in the Archie Sonic universe, that he took over after his dad died. so you can technically Scourge and Sonic brothers but I would put as Pit and Pitoo/Dark Pit if dark Pit was from an alternate world)
