  • Summer is Switzerland is amazing. Enjoy this ride down the side of Mount Pilatus on the Rodelbahn Frakigaudi. The longest free slide toboggan, or luge, and maybe the best coaster in the Swiss Alps! Watch to the end too. The views on the ride up the mountain side are amazing.

I had been trekking in the Swiss Alps all day, and when I heard about the legendary Rodelbahn Frakigaudi rollercoaster I knew I had to go. After a full day of exploration I arrived at the bottom of Mount Pilatus, and the anticipation of the view made my heart race.
I climbed aboard the coaster, and was quickly transported down the daunting height of the mountain. At the top, I gasped at the breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and the distant mountaintops. The air was crisp and cold, and I felt a sense of exhilaration and freedom.
As the coaster began to descend the mountain, I grabbed onto the bar and held on tight. The twists and turns of the rails made me squeal in delight as we spiraled down. I had never felt anything like this before! I was amazed by the craftsmanship and skill of the engineers who built the coaster in such a difficult area.
The descent was a wild ride and I couldn’t help but smile the entire way down. When I finally reached the bottom, I felt both relieved and exhilarated at the same time. It was an amazing experience, and I knew I’d have to come back soon. Riding down the side of Mount Pilatus on the Rodelbahn Frakigaudi was easily one of the best things I’d ever done.
