Now i understood why india is at 142nd position at happiness. Because of IIT parents think nothing is greater than it, hence parents force their children. But when we talk about MIT, the best thing is score only matter 25-30% which I just loved it.

No awards and achievements is okay (if you want a good US college) but come on man you need extracurriculars... Some Passion, it can be anything. You can't just say that you've only been preparing for JEE and have done nothing else in life in the college application...

If you study so much that you don't have time for extracurriculars, you must be focused on JEE or NEET... Don't lose focus then, preparing for that is the best thing you can do rn

@@hanugh4181 scholarship is different from financial aid. Financial aid is need based and scholarship is given based on merit. MIT does not award any scholarships to international students. It only awards financial aid.

Based on the image that you showed of his "research" at IIT Kanpur, it shows that he was only there as the part of the some 2000 people solving the Rubik's cube or was a volunteer at that event. Nowhere is it written that he did some research at IITK

Life is not revolving around Mits, iits, aims, money and luxuries, just get some knowledge from there and use it for the social upliftment and try to make everyone get the same education for free that we are getting from the iits and nits, free health care, and no one should die with hunger. As a student I am working for it, I hope we the youth of our country gonna make it one day and sorry if my words hurts anyone.

I am a 11th grader with decent scores (89% - 94%) and have 1 National Rank Bronze Medal. I'm also a web developer, back-end app developer, android developer and also know a lot about databases(I was noticed by Oracle!). The only thing I lack is Extracurriculars because I'm a huge introvert and very lazy.

All of you should plan to serve your own Nation whenever you get chance or opportunity because your nation which gave to subsidize education and all the facilities to make you all capable to further global opportunity and never compelled for anything. Turnover Cashflow has reached to the point I signed deal with a CA firm to manage it 😎. Time flies fast ig man.

Hey i wants to give Ipho(international physics olympiad),IMO(International mathematics olympiad and IOI(informtics olympiad) and NSO also.
I have Huge and outstanding knowledge of physics and c.s and i am an advance knowledgeable student in maths.I am presently studying in 10th(14 years old) standard
and later wants to get into MIT from IIT....but i live in a small town where all of these olympiads are not available..

Actually, TOEFL is not required for MIT.
It is required for non us citizens. its written on their website

Bro I don't know anything about Indian exams cos I'm in Canada but I am studying from a Indian professor who said he studied from IIT but he doesn't know how to teach . Moreover, one of my professor was Indian too and he said he studied from NIT a much lower level than IIT and to be tru he teaches much better than that IIT teacher.
