Black Strap is the food that gives you the Rock Busters perk, if I remember correctly Tuna Fish Gravy Toast gives you Skull Crusher BUT I generally don't bother since Mega Crush gives you a Melee Damage boost as well and it lasts longer.

If you need to throw some stuff in the bottom to lock em down for rocket fire, run some electric fences between the columns. Maybe a small pit or even just a one block high wall they have to stop to jump over.

I think that you should design some kind of loot bag trap in your next horde base, so you can run down snatch up the goodies before you hoof it or just a wall of turrets on a timer relay to help mop up the morning. As always loving your videos 👍👍

I used to build standalone bases from scratch just because I wish to customize how I like my bases to look. But after having watch this series, I decided to do a playthrough where my base can only be a repurposed POI. And I must say, its been a blast to redesign it. My final design now is going to be pretty similar to your OOS base with tweaks to make it less complex (well, just having a single access points for the zombies on horde night as opposed to 3 points XD)
The Blackstrap Coffee is the food that gives you rock busters. However its only for 2 minutes and doesnt stack. Its very cheap to make though so Id suggest making a lot of it :)

Great episode! Loved the slow motion body parts raining down! If you changed the upper railing on the fighting position to the wider scaffolding could you get those head shots on the radiated Titans?
Good stuff. :) Electric posts are wonky in A21, they really don't work properly on that height. I'd suggest setting them a block higher and spreading the posts a bit further apart just in case. You could also try doubling the wires since you have room for extra posts. :)

Well, I'm obviously doing something wrong because I have not had any Hordes like this. Shoot, I'm lucky if I get a fireball flung at me. Maybe because I don't build and build and build and get my Gamestage cranked up? IDK. Your playthrough is pretty exciting though.
Surprised you didn't upgrade weapons earlier than this Ep.--is there a Coil _rifle_ that can replace the _carbine?_ Also, a set of slots or ports in the upper front wall, that would allow you to fire rockets/throw grenades forward, as well as allowing Junk Turrets to be used to help support the front. To deal with the slow mass (and Screamers) you could have gone to the roof, sniped Screamers, and bombared the rest with Pulse Grenades till they were gone. Why you shut your Turrets off at dawn is beyond me--the mass Zeds had appeared earlier, so you _knew_ they were an ongoing problem. Only 4 more Eps. left, so you stumble through to success somehow, anyway...
For the base game, alpha 19 is when i played the most, and ive had the game since the early teen alphas. Honestly though, the vanilla game just doesn't do it for me anymore, darkness falls is all i play for the past 2 years or so. Its just so hard going back to vanilla after the much more satisfying progression within DF.
This end to horde night is so unsatisfying. Khaine needs to add in a grace period for screamer spawns on horde nights. Even just a few more in game hours, like 6-8am should be enough to let you finish off most of whats left on horde night before you have to worry about heat generation. Its frankly unfair that you are forced to abandon base late game and miss all your hard earned loot because of infinite screamer loops. Because you flat out cant kill the horde late game without lots of gunfire. I dont even know if silencers would help enough considering the sheer volume of rounds it takes to kill stuff. Maybe it will be better at laser level? Enough dps to burn them down more reasonably? Ah well, I love the rocket launcher man, every time it goes off, your exp bar fills by a significant chunk. :p I cant wait till you have pulse rockets to murder even bigger targets.
You should do a 105 Day challenge using grandpa forgetting elixir every seven days and respecting into the previous tree. Once your current one is maxed and so on! 64+ zombies on horde nights max difficulty and ONLY 1,000 blocks for horde base and 2,000 max if home base & horde base are one structure. Finally can ONLY build in the wasteland!

Silencer will help yes, but won't totally prevent it. Just lowers the heat increase per shot.

I think "Lower Demon" and "Higher Demon" sounds better as a way to refer to Demons.
For some reason my mind was going with "Lesser Demon" and "Greater Demon".
I agree, go into "morning after" lockdown mode at the base and bug out for an hour or two just to reset the zombies.
if the MK2 turrets blow-out the full concrete blocks, just replace them with the 3D truss shape which can't be shot and you're golden
