    Programs, programs and more programs. 3.5 years out and I still get reprogrammed.
    As you wisely pointed out, scar tissue affects it, weight gain, weight loss (including muscle mass) it all affects our programs. I will say this far out my reprogramming is more far and fewer in between now a days.
    Keep the faith man! Sounds like things are moving right along. Be safe and be well!

      That you so much for bringing the gems with you 🍻 I kinda figured that it was scar tissue forming & causing my therapy to increase. I did not know that weight gain/loss could also be a factor. Very wise words & I truly appreciate it. Thanks for pointing it out and thanks for watching, my friend. Take care and be blessed

      This process can be very nerve racking but it’s worth it in the end. I can relate to the stress relating to being out of work. It’s not fun but it will be worth it in the end if you have a successful trial. I had my permanent placed on June 16th and it’s been life changing. I’m actually starting to live again. My pain has decreased by about 75% and I’ve cut my pain meds in half already. I hope everything works out for you so you can get pain relief

      Hello Thomas thanks for watching. I can truly understand you reason for opting out of this procedure. It is pretty expensive. I have a mound of Dr. bills 😐 but for me it was worth every dime. The recovery time is a slow process that requires patience and time off work. Many of us don’t have that luxury. In about 3 more months I’ll be at the 1 year mark. I will be posting more videos between now and then.

    Hi, I have had 2 trials for my lumbar and my neck. I had great relief from the nerve pain in both. My question is do you have two stimulator spots and if so how does the dual stimulation help?
    Also before I had the trials I have had 3 fusions 2 in my neck and one in my lumbar. You stated that you are considering having a fusion done. I would definitely talk to your surgeon a lot! Due to all of my fusions, the area above and below the fusion have worn out and that was the reason I had to have the second fusion in my neck. They still wanted to do another fusion in my neck and that would have been 3 and my mobility in my neck would be a fracture at that point. Make sure you are asking a lot of questions and I would write them down talk to other people just to make sure it is right for you because once the fusion is done it is not changeable. Thank you for your videos you actually have helped me make my decision to have the surgery done.

    • @MySCSStory
      @MySCSStory  3 года назад +1

      Hi Russ, thanks for watching and welcome to the channel 🖖🏽 in regards to MySCS locations. During the trial I had the external box. With my permanent, I have two sites. One is where my pulse generator is located and the second is on my spine. That’s where my leads are. Right now I am dodging the fusion for as long as I can stomach it. You would be the third viewer who’s encouraging me to not do it, rethink it and or talk to my surgeon. I already have 15% whole body impairment. A fusion would probably make it worse. If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look at MySCS scar reveal video. In that video, I show what the scars from my permanent looks like

      Hello Thomas thanks for watching. It took nearly 3 months for me to get my appt. My intake got tangled up during the shutdown. I had to a zoom conference with PM & Reps during the mid Summer 2020. Had teleconference with Psychologist in Sept. Had Trial around the end of Oct 2020 & got my permanent in November 2020. That was then but things are more relaxed now so the time table could be quicker, depending on your location & how “things” are there.
