I’ll just have my guy update everything to the 6.0 version and be done with it.i finally got the active engine list & how to create a lashup out of the way. I still can’t understand why a NEW WIU wouldn’t have the ew version in it but I’ll find out soon enough, thanks so much, NICE TRAIN ROOM by the way

Figured it out! When holding labor prompt on swipe to main screen. Then the engine sound will stay in Full Labor sound. Pretty cool, sounds way better.have to do this each start up, the engine resets to factory sound. Let me know if if works for you.

Hey Matt, I just discovered Labor chuff from watching your 3 year old video. Great! My MTH steam are not very deep as Lionel as we all know, boy if I could keep it on labor at all times that would be awesome. Is there? My M1B mountain sounds like a Lionel when I press labor , man there has to be a way?
Unfortunately no, it's only a momentary button. Would be nice because you also get more smoke when the labor is active.
Guess it's time for an updated app mth?. 12-28-23. App won't create lashups anymore, just yesterday, marcs Oscale trains said it's the app, upgrade in January

Ohh, so I need DCS Explorer and that?
@@Alex_Campbell_MTA Nope. The DCS explorer is a limited function DCS system that gives you some of the features of DCS but not all. This system (the WIU) is an add on to the TIU that gives you all the features of DCS from a smart device (phone, tablet ect). The Explorer and WIU are not compatible with each other and are two separate things.
Please explain the issue when adding an engine it comes up with various error messages and won’t add the engine. I’ve had other issues that I repeated to add the engine and it adds a duplicate engine and operates as the other engine.
Not sure what's going on there. I've never had that problem.

Matt, you had said in other videos your not a fan of the DCS Remote menus, Is it possible to buy the TIU and the wifi mod. and just use your phone/ tablet and forgo getting the remote? (Back ground on me, i am just starting with an O gauge set up.)
Yes, you don't have to buy the remote if you don't want to.

Sure does. Just need the proper equipment to run it.
@@trainlover9943 Thank You So much, I have the TIU and Hand Held using the older CAB 1 and Command interface with RS 232 cable and it does run the TMCC Trains. So i hoped the WiFi Phone App would also. I like that interface. I am a American Flyer Operator, so i have converted all my engines to either TMCC or PS2/3. After 5 years or more the MTH Stuff is pretty powerful. I do the Upgrade kits to both Steam and Diesel with great results. I am doing a Flyer 1950 Northern now with PS3 for a GI in Afghanistan, He returns in 80 days. I am using an American Model Northern tender Extended range Oil, it provides gobs of space for the PS3 board set. Since we are Flyer S Gauge guys we tend to have a mix TMCC and Convention. Most of the engine i convert or late 40s and 50s. I did do the Lionel S Guage Alco for American Freedom in PS2 for the PFA as MTH had that engine in O gauge too. I also did my Wife's American Models NYC Express in Chrome in PS3 for the PFA as well. Hoping to get the WiFi soon. Thank You. ruclips.net/video/F6aN92Vona0/видео.html
