That appears too of been a Coyote 🐺🐺 with it's winter coat still intact. The hike was great, with excellent photography as always. The three Grizzlies really stood out & looked really good. Thanks as always.
If its a coyote its eatin good in the neighborhood! Big for a coyote. Love the crunch of the frosty ground and the sound of the sandcranes. We used to feed them, they were gentle with us but very territorial when it came to other pairs. Great video as always❤
Wolf?? Great video of grizzlies, unaware of your presence from more than a half mile away - epic photography Stan. Those sure look like the Taylor-Hilguards at the end, but I don't think you can see them from YNP. Thanks
100% Coyote. Small nose and pointy nose. Can tell by nose, eyes, color, and size. Easily differentiated between a coyote and wolf, as I'm sure you know
In my town, coyotes are killing peoples dogs while they are on leash and under the control of their owner. We also have a mountain line that is stealing people's dogs on leash and right out of the owner's hands.
I definitely say it is a Wolf, It is much larger than a Coyote, but a young Coyote isn't as smart as a Wolf, and will even lay around like this photo if they see a human and but a Wolf is too wise to lay and rest with the smell or sight of a human.
Thank you Stan! I enjoy coming along with you on a hike. Stay safe out there.

I really enjoy your videos and look forward to the next one.
I would say that is a coyote. I really like May with the Sandhill cranes doing their calls in the background sounds.
Enjoyed seeing the grizzlies. Stay safe Stan.
Coyote, the snout is narrow compared to a wolf.
Thank you father!
Loved the Grizzlies. Thank you for sharing.
Been awhile since you posted, Stan. I was afraid you had been eaten. 😮
Thank you so much.🐾🐾🐾
Incredible. I'd be so scared.
Thanks Stan! That is one healthy Coyote!
Coyote, I live in the desert south west, see them everyday I hike here. Taking a little me time laying in the warm sun.
beautiful film as always - thanks :)
( also - my guess is coyote :) )

Looks like outside the park somewhere outside West Yellowstone.

Coyote in thick winter coat. Well fed.
Coyote , the little brother to the Wolf. 5:21 mark.....Chasing a trespasser out of his grocery store.
