This particular generation of the 'Batman," is IMHO, the most versatile of all of the Rolex GMT "Master," models, ever produced. I especially believe so due to the "jubilee style" bracelet. It dresses both up, and down equally. Much more so than the "oyster." Great presentation
Just collected mine after waiting 2+ years. Really surprised to get the call from my AD and rushed straight to the store. I agree with all your comments about the watch. I really wanted a GMT because of the time zone travelling ability. Now I have it I am not sure that I will risk taking it with me! As mentioned, I waited 2+ years on the ADs list and when I collected it he told me that they are no longer adding names to the list because of the difficulty getting hold of them.
I just picked up mine last week and Rolex watch theft continues to be a real problem in certain cities. It sucks that you have to worry about wearing your watch when you travel to certain places because of the threat of robbery and theft. It defeats the whole purpose of being to able wear and use the watch when you travel. So in the end, depending on where you will be traveling, you may not want to take it with you.
Great Review!! I just got the call from my local AD for the BLNR on an oyster. I seriously thought about passing it up, and continue the wait for the BLRO, but watching your review made me want the BLNR more. Excellent watch and review! keep it up :)
My favorite Rolex ever. I know the BLRO is iconic and has more history but I feel that the BLNR/ Batgirl is the best looking. Furthermore, for the function of GMT (blue for day, black for night) the color of the bezel makes the most sense. I absolutely love the color of the blue, especially in the right lighting.
@@Row2nd i have both. Sub Date easily. It's just far more of an icon and what really got me into watches. The batman is versatile, fun, unique... but it just doesn't have the history.
@@aussieexpat thanks for the heads up man have seen a few of your videos. Have you seen the cartier santos adlc black btw? looks kinda cool too. Also, do you think the explorer is worth getting at its crazy price? the 39mm version.
@@Row2nd i think both the 214270 and 124270 are a little overheated. If i had to guess both will be a couple K cheaper in a year as less people consider the new 124270 and have satisfied the urge. 214270 hasnt commanded a premium for long so the prices have got to be exciting to some owners out there that may actually trading out for a 124270.
@@Row2nd I tried on the santos dlc yesterday. I'm gonna say firm no despite it being nice. Dlc is just.... not for me, cant be polished. If rather the bb ceramic for my all black kick. The rubber strap is OK, but the bracelet is so good in the santos it's a crime to skip on it.
@@watchyourstyle LOVE IT. Took some time to figure out how to set it and the GMT hand being 24 hrs took me a second to understand. LOL. I was like why is it showing the wrong time!

Yup and I think the blue and black is much more versatile than the Pepsi. The Pepsi is a striking color but it’s harder to match outfits with it
@@Longshore79 that it is👍

Just got mine today, traded with my Submariner Date (plus a little cash on top) and am absolutely fadcinated! My new number 1 watch.
I just traded in a Datejust 41 for one. ❤
Awesome review! The BLNR on Jubilee is perfect! Have heard this referenced as the Bruce Wayne as well, would be cool to add that to the Title
Picking one up next week, pumped man, great video cheers
Congrats man! And thanks 🙏
Nice video. I have now subscribed.
Great advise , thank you so much , i just got that piece last week

Glad I could help and excellent choice! Enjoy the BLNR in great health :)
Well said and I totally agree with you. Btw, Batman Jubilee looks great on you! 👍🏼
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate it
Nice review, three days ago I got the call from AD and today is the day I'm going for my Batgirl, I'm very excited:). I waited 2,5 years btw.
Wow!!! 2.5 years. Congrats mate!!!
I enjoyed this video. And man, does the Omega Specter look amazing too..
Now that is a sharp watch!
100% agree with you on the daytona.

Totally agree! I also like the contrast and how stark the blue is versus the sometimes blurple of the BLRO.
It’s a great watch looks great with a suit or jeans and a t shirt
Congratulations! You have the best gmt master ever!
Would u get this or sub date?

I’m soon to acquire one. Flipping my Snoopy to get it. Will go very nicely with my Planet Ocean.
Going on a trip soon where I cant carry. Thinking about my explorer or seiko alpinist.
Great 😊 video lovely watch. How many links did you remove?
Not sure as I got it pre-owned! Had to remove one link from what the previous owner had
Does this have AR coating underneath the crystal?
Yep! The newer models with the crown between Swiss and made should all have it
Really tired of hearing about the Rolex "Pepsi." This was supposed to be a video about the BLNR.
Who uses Chronograph?
I was with u till u said "over a daytona"
Haha. The GMT is more useful to me. I like having a date function and independently adjustable hour hand.
Rumor has it, Watch your style keeps his pants up with a belt made out of Pepsi's
