whats the music called?
If you still don't know what "hold no.1 for ifr", means it means that the atc put you in a queue and youre number 1 in queue for getting your ifr cleared

Ngl if i hadnt tried to practice some atc stuff in other flight sims, i would not have realized hold number 1 for ifr would mean wait, i never tried atc24 yet but im planning to, one of the things i got used to is when asked to hold typically means having to wait.

You did great for your first time. As time goes, you'll pick up more of what different stuff means. If you don't know something just ask beacuase most ppl in atc24 are friendly and welcoming to new players.

I like this video, very informative since I just applied for ATC24 and just a little tip, you should keep the audio balanced, I had to turn the volume down when u did the taxi montages

2 questions: 1 how do you know your callsign like the India golf echo or do you just make it up?
2: if your like in an easyjet and in the game its hardjet do you say hard 3731 or easy 3731, thank you.
for this video I just made it up, you can just make them up hhaa. For the second question, just use realistic callsigns like easy instead of hard

Its like vatsim for ptfs, personally never tried it as i prefer the atc on infinite flight expert severs but i might give it a try soon

I was like that, but I grinded my ass off watching youtube videos from real pilots, real procedures. 6 months of doing this, you become an expert
Bro you're good i didnt even know what IFR clearance, vectors and sids were on my first flight (it was definitely embarrassing saying roger even though i have no idea what they were talking about) and i definetly broke a few rules there like directly landing without following vectors because bro i swear when i first got into atc24 i thought it was just gonna be like one of those "public atc" but then a friend of mine helped me understand what to do on my second flight and i just continue to learn from then on. I actually really enjoy atc 24 now that i have a bit of an idea on what im doing

Hold No.1 mean youre in queqe and you are the first one. Atc need to check your route on flight plan
Bro this is so relatable. Today is I guess my 4th day on ATC24 and I was just like you, I was just saying stuff I didn't even know what it meant but by the 3rd time already I was 10 times more comfortable
0:38 you just like me when i attend my first flight in atc 24, at that moment i am confused and i dont know what i need to do. so basically, the atc will contact you once you request for ifr to your destination, and that "hold no. 1 alpha" means that you're on queue for atc to contact you once the atc completed to check your flight plans.
Do not worry about your first flight, I and all the other controllers understand and will help you unless you break rules but we will help guide you on your way to being great

That called SIDS and STARS. You either choose it for flight or you can just use GPS Direct that atc will tell your heading and altitude. It kinda hard to explain what SIDS and STARS is so i recommend you to watch a video called ATC24 guide:charts

That's how I did at first. I gave up but a ATC member told me to never give up. Give it a week. I did my best and now I am way better than usual.

yo, atc here; dw about messing up and asking to repeat squawk; I would rather have someone clear it up, than mess up go to the wrong place an do somthing they aren't supposed to. Dont be afraid to ask questions, we all start somewhere

this is completely wrong. you can do a radio check whether you think your mic is gonna work or not, just to make sure the controller can hear you okay.

@@DarkSpiderMan261on my first flight 3 weeks ago i also left the game when i was in the sky bcz idk what to do. So in next flight i just do everything. Atc will tell you to change voice channel to airspace youre in and just report your heading and altitude. Then theyll confirm if you wanna land there and they will just align you to the approach. Atc24 stuff is kinda easy now i use SIDS and STARS already. Good luck on trying to reach your destination!
