Thanks for the ride out Dave, some beautiful scenery. We are approaching the end of the rainy season here in Thailand, so more ride outs for me on the horizon.
When a new bike catches our eye, we all think about changing but too often it doesn’t make financial sense so we hang onto what we have. Best of luck with your bike search etc.
Great roads and scenery on this video. Never heard of Long Woman's Grave, but it is now on my to-do list. My top tip for finding new routes is... Select a destination on Google Maps. Then switch the routing mode from car to bicycle ... then enjoy the back roads. Occasionally it takes you down tracks ... ride with caution!
Super ride out, just the right length to go with a morning coffee after walking Dave my Golden Retriever ☕️. 10 horses, 10 dogs + cats, kids….oh and almost an afterthought, my wife!! (Skating on thin ice there?). Plus you forgot the 4 bikes. All the best from Cambridge🇬🇧
Well Saturday wouldn’t be Saturday without your ramblings! I often have a mental ramble to myself when riding, its seems to go with biking🤣 The DJI camera gives wonderful views while riding. Keep em coming.
Thanks Dave as always, great craic! I get to experience something I can’t do here at home. Super appreciate it. What the hell though, all the ice cream has been put away!? Thats just mad! I was looking forward to seeing more giant cones with raspberry drizzle. What a shame…oh well
Thanks for taking us on ride. And ye gods, man: 10 horses, 10 dogs, four cats, four kids, a job, and a wife? It’s a wonder you have time to use the toilet let alone ride a motorbike. Well done.
Love that bike Dave….re battery anxiety…..I put a power bank in the top right pocket of my Merlin Edale jacket and plug in…..more chance of me dying before the battery 😂
Nice ride out. I can see why you'd want the 1000SX for going on a tour but for a bit of fun I'd keep the RS 660, it sounds great. You can always put the panniers on the VFR.
I managed to get out for an hour over the weekend after a break from the rain in NE England 😂 my RS has been laid up with the check engine light for a whilst but she back and firing now 😂
Would be real glad if you manage to acquire a Triumph Street Triple RS as I’ve just bought a Carnival Red one and it’s by far the best bike I’ve ever ridden. It handles so beautifully, so smooth and refined and so gorgeous to look at. Can’t find enough excuses just to ride this thing! I’ve done a couple of my own mods to it already. Oem heated grips, A tail tidy by Evotech, a radiator guard by the same company, grip puppies and paddock bobbins. Cruise control is next.
@WheelieGoodTV there's quite a few alright. I want to do the Mourne coastal route again. The views are great and so are the roads (on a dry day). I'll bring the GS too :)
When a motorcyclist sees a "bends ahead " sign, we smile, lol. Nice roads on this trip.
Cheers bud 🙏

Nice video Dave 📹...I feel like I've had a Saturday morning spin in the Emerald Isle myself!. Cheers Steve
Good man Steve. That’s why I make the vids friend. 🙏👌

Agreed 👍

🤣🤣Thanks again Neil. Cheers mate.🏍️
I really enjoyed that spin! Your footage is so good I feel like I'm going for a spin myself! 😂
That’s a huge compliment. Cheers man.🙏

Cheers Trev. Oooh I wonder what little series of vids might be starting next Saturday??🤔🎥 I’ll give you a bell during the week mate.
@@WheelieGoodTV yes I’m wheelie looking forward to it 🤣
Another wonderful video Dave, thanks for sharing. You have just inspired me to get my Ireland video edited ! 😄😄
Good man Martin. Shame I wasn’t in your Ireland vid this time around. We’ll do it again man.

I know, the summer went in a flash. TBH those ice cream vids were turning viewers away, so it might not be a bad thing. Shame as I loved doing them.
@@WheelieGoodTV Ah well, your die hard fans enjoy all the vids. Keep ‘‘em coming, cheers !
What lovely country!
Yeah we sure are lucky here. Thanks 🙏
Riding the Bike is great therapy, and in a wonderful country too! Another awesome Video Dave, sure I recognised some of those roads 🧐😎
I’m sure you do recognise them Simon. You were on them last month bud.👌🏍
Thanks for taking us on ride. And ye gods, man: 10 horses, 10 dogs, four cats, four kids, a job, and a wife? It’s a wonder you have time to use the toilet let alone ride a motorbike. Well done.
It’s a struggle alright Marco. Cheers bud. 😬👌🏍️

Good idea! Must keep that one in mind. Cheers!

What was the problem with the light? Hopefully not a big issue. 🥴🏍
Great getting out to clear the mind Dave keep up the great vids 👍
Selling bikes privately really sucks, is why I nearly always take the hit and part exchange... I know I shouldn't, but so many tyre kickers.
I have the Ninja 1000 SX , love it 👍
Missus has a Tuono 660 Factory with optional higher screen. Loves it. (So do I). Comfier than the RS.

Stay tuned Stephen. I think you’ll like my new bike. 🤔
@@WheelieGoodTV I sure hope I’m thinking what you’re thinking!
Would you not consider the tuareg 660 for the more upright position. And you get the same great sound and motor
Reviewed one last year but it reminded me of an ex girlfriend…A great ride but not much to look at!🫣
@@WheelieGoodTV, 🤣🤣🤣👌🏼
Where will you be going for next year's ice cream challenge? Monaghan or Fermanagh?
I’d say it could be something different next year David. I’ll start recharging the grey matter. 🤯
Cooley beans
Great video Dave. I'm based in the Louth area if you are out this way again give me a shout and I'll get you a coffee if you're up for it.
Ah ha, unreal how many bikers are out that way. I think I need another spin out!
@WheelieGoodTV there's quite a few alright. I want to do the Mourne coastal route again. The views are great and so are the roads (on a dry day). I'll bring the GS too :)
You've no interest in baggers?
I had a Yamaha Dragstar XVS650 a few years back and loved it, but I needed more speed. 😬🏍
