They don't even play their own game. That's why even as a super unicum dread-terror of World of Tanks just ended up uninstalling permanently before they figured out how to rework artillery. These absolute monkeys are doing the same to me in WoWs with how subs play vs DDs and the general dumbing down of the game.
It was a beast in the early days and I still see it as one so to call it an underdog seems odd to me lol... Back before they changed the spotting mechanic it could shoot a long range and not even be spotted. It was OP.
I went down them and gave up at the tier 8. Very slow firing rate for cruisers compared to other cruisers, average accuracy compared to other cruisers and they're made of glass and citadels. Bad firing angles too for the most part, both for the guns and torps. Only nice thing about them is the torps are long range and hit hard but nothing that shines above other cruisers. My advice is don't waste your time. The Zao is apparently the only one worth getting and I couldn't be bothered. Russian, American and Italian cruisers are the way to go if you're into cruisers.
@@gothamgoon4237 having played some of the other cruisers- the accuracy on the IJN guns are very accurate, though Zao is kinda the only one that can really make use of it, other than maybe 155 Mogami which is kinda just fun

The most amazing thing to me is the level of toxic. I've seen guys lose their cool, but this level hasn't been more than a handful in 4 years. What a sorry existence he must have.
Also if WG gave to percent of a shit, they could use replay footage to punish.. and give examples as to why they're being punished. Imagine a dev team that did that.. "Welp i saw your behavior its unacceptable you are being banned for two months please come back with a better insight or we'll just disable your chat" But then, two months without a possible pay piggy when numbers are drying up..
Yaris has more torps per side (12 instead of 10) that are more stealthy and the forward angles are still way better than Zao ones. Plus torps reload faster than in Zao cause they are quad launchers not quintuple.
Not really, Yodo angles are still better, gun arcs much worse and torps are slower but have 15km range, also Yodo has better AA but it has crappy turning circle (still). The change for Zao was needed but it’s not gonna replace Yodo. Though I still consider Zao better, Yodo still needs turning circle buffs and gun reload buff too.
With all the buffs Zao got, I wonder if playing it in reverse is feasible. By going in reverse, you are always ready to kite and you can utilize your better firing angles for your guns and torpedoes for offense. I don’t play the game, so I’m probably missing some obvious downside to doing this, but it just got me thinking. On a different note, intentionally dragging out a lost game by running away could be a form of being a sore loser.
@stefanocrosazzo3262 I mean Super ships are supposed to be just that, super. But if that's going to be the case all of the super ships that have hydro should at least get a 6 km Hydro instead of the normal 5 if you're going to go that route. Might as well give it four more twin secondary turrets on top of that cuz why not LOL.
The HP has already been buffed, and it already didn't have much of an impact as it wasn't really what the ship needed... So YES, it WAS harder than that...
@@spacer0247 OP... still has the same paper armor at more than a 30 degree angling. Gets shitstomped by plunging fire. Torps take FOREVER to reload. Already had an HP buff. Still the slowest reload of all T.X CA cruisers (outside of BCs). Easy to overextend due to it's camo rating. Can't island camp easily due to its railguns. Now I'm not saying that it was completely weak, but this thing has a very specific playstyle that you really have to think about like using WASD hax that most forget exist, myself included. Zao needed these buffs. less exposed broadside means taking less cit hits from large bore guns.

would love to test out things on PTS, but having to download a whole ass client is such a turn off and they wonder why nobody try's out the PTS
I would consider pla6ing the PTS, but I am already have almost no room left, mostly due to the live client

7km that’s submarine surveillance (underwater radar). Zao still has 5km regular hydro.
