If Andy Roddick is going to take such a strong stand against Saudi Arabia on behalf of the safety of ATP’ players, shouldn’t he also take a similarly strong stand on behalf of the WTA against China on the Peng Shuai disappearance issue?
The WTA should withdraw any and all tournaments from China ……
Tbh they should also then threaten to pull out from Wimbledon and any German tournaments for the shocking a*use young girls have faced from migrant men that the government's have actively covered up and been complicit in.
The reason WTA is likely to take the Saudi offer is b/c WTA has been losing millions for the past 3 years and especially took a $15M hit when it embargoed all the tournaments in China. So WTA has a tough call to make -- fight for the tour's survival or get involved in human rights issues.
Good for Andy Rod for standing up for other pro tennis players who may play in Saudi Arabia.
PLEASE do a ”We need to talk about Shapovalov”
You should do a piece on Richard Gasquet's career. He beat Federer when he was only 15 in the Monte Carlo quarterfinals and was seen as one of the next big things.

Great that you mentioned what Andy Roddick said

@@BOZ_11 China is still a Communist country, suppressing freedom and civil rights from its people.
No more than 250-point tournaments should be held there. Olympics should be banned there, too.
In Boris Beckers statement he said, that he doesn’t have the time to support Rune as much as he needs to. An example for that are the AO, but im still surprised as Rune seemed to be on the right track again.
Hey Noah the news about Novak not being injured was misinterpreted we later found out. The question was about his wrist. Goran said his wrist was 100%. He did not speak on the fact that Novak most likely had other medical issues during the Sinner match.
My eyes are not fooling me. I was there at the arena watching that match and Novak was not ok. Something was wrong with him.
I hate to keep saying this because I do not want to make it seem like I am finding excuses. Sinner won the match and he deserves the praise.
Yeah sounds like Novak and Zverev had the same flu / fever in their SFs. As you said, takes nothing away from how well Sinner and Medvedev played
@@brandonm8901 Yea exactly.
What makes you say Tsitsipas has a weak backhand? He can challenge the likes of Djokovic on that side who has arguably one of the best BHs.
When are we gonna talk about Diego Schwartzman?
Thank you for keeping your own personal politics out of the Saudi issue, I see far too many people trying to force their own moral systems on a country they don't know or understand meanwhile ignoring obvious issues in their own countries. Roddick talks as if he has the moral highground meanwhile contributing to the American system which is responsoble for far more harm than the Saudis.
10:40 what? Laver cup is awesome!
good content
Please make a “what’s going on” video on Grigor Dimitrov please 🙏🏼
What are you driving at ?
that's insane by bublik haha
@tennisplus Remember that Kid at the credentials that was me
All of those who stayed quiet when Novak was prevented playing and deported from Australia, should stay quiet about whatever rules Saudi Arabia applies on their soil.
those things are on two completely different levels
@@isthatrubble completely true, forced vaccination is way worse than a country enforcing its morals
@@marcosvivoni1944 murdering journalists who criticise a country is much worse than a country enforcing its health standards.
australia doesn't have forced vaccination, anyway. there's so many things wrong with this country you could criticise, there's no need to make things up.
Life's hard when you're a stupid fuck
What a crazy look on reality you got when you actually believe those two things are similar😮
Rune got in because of the short shorts. He's eye candy.
I don't know if that's why he got in, but he's definitely a joy to look at.
_Permission to compete under a neutral flag is to justify the stupidity of penalizing athletes because of war, as if they had something to do with the _*_stupidity of wars created by psychopathic rulers_* . Ordinary People do not want war._
And what is the truth that are you talking about?
Svitolina is playing in cutter? Where the fuck is cutter?
David Witt coaching Rune may work or not.
Not a fan of Holger Rune, he acts like an entitled spoiled brat, and until he matures I don't see him doing great things in tennis, Now don't get me wrong, he'll do good things but great things no.................
But that's just an act required of him to play in the atp tour. It's not resl. In real life he is a good kid.
@@user-wd7ue1wd6r What? Who requires him to behave like that? And why can Yannik Sinner get away with being a serious, mature and thoroughly nice person and still win a slam?
@@marymarlow3646 it's a script. Luis vuitton has paid atp and it's media well to show sinner as an ideal kid. On the other hand, holger is yet to find his game and a good sponsor and being from not so marketable country doesn't help much. Until then, He has to play villains part.
What are you smoking?🤯@@user-wd7ue1wd6r
Agree. As much as I do like to watch Tsitsipas, his backhand is too much of a liability. Most of the time, he struggles with timing and it comes of as too jerky. He's a bit the same on the forehand but there is generally more room on the forhand side and the result comes of as a very modern that he makes to work well. On rare occasions, Tsitsipas manages to find a backhand with a more controlled acceleration and then the shot is obviously much better.
Are we going to talk about Ostapenko (not a fan tbh)
would be funny if Tsitsipas made you eat crow..😁😁
Shelton is 6"4; he should be able to dunk.
It really is fake???
Of course ya dintz! So you're telling me that you've never seen Fraser McKnight out of his "Sir Andy Murray" tennis character?
Tsitsipas still has aspirations? 😂
Rune has not won a slam. slight correction
4:14-4:16. All of them…. Except Holger Rune. That’s why he was asking why Rune and not someone else

The sport of tennis will surely benefit from genius ideas like ATP producing reality shows. Or creating sensation seeking dilettante tennis channels, gossip spreading, foreign cultures fixing, even new show business jargon like "working in production space" selflessly contributing. Because nobody important cares about thinks like Laver Cup or the need for long overdue changes in ATP and WTA, and all that boring stuff.
Although your content is amzing you dont get the attention you deserve, not because of lack of quality, but because of an unpupalar theme, compared to other types of videos around this platform.
you are on the ball wrt Tsitsipas - perfect assessment ....
Finally decided to stamp the karmic retribution card... we see you
Djokovic was considered as mental coach?? Did I hear that right?
My understanding of Muslim stance is that they do not accept public display of affection either by heterosexuals and homosexuals. This is not too much to ask. It’s unacceptable and an offence to marry more than one wife in the West but this is acceptable in many cultures. We need to respect and tolerate rather than condemn.
Cancel all tournaments in China and Saudi Arabia. Morality matters. If the world lets things go and ignore them, then morality doesn't matter. No such thing as right and wrong
If morality really mattered, why didn't the tennis tour ban US players and US money when we invaded Iraq looking for "weapons of mass destruction" that were never found - or denounce Nike sponsorship when it was discovered they use child labor...
Should not be promoting gay players .
