Alaska is just amazing. Was up there fishing for a week about 30 years ago.Fished the Kenai for king salmon. Then we went elsewhere for silvers(the most aggressive fish I"ve ever seen. Then went out for halibut, good eating,my least favorite to fish for, very good smoked.Go,you"ll never forget it.Spend your money on experiences, that"s what your gonna remember.
That’s why I record the videos little time capsules too look back on ! Lucky too call Alaska my backyard, I’ve gone halibut fishing before but definitely need to do more of it and cook some up!
I've fished that place since childhood. Please keep in mind the population is no where near what it used to be. It's been hit hard the past decade and it's been struggling to return to what it used to be. Like the videos by the way I just wanted to let you know. If you think you had a good day there, you should see what its capable of if anglers stop retaining every silver they catch there.
@@Sabrina-vr5kw I filmed this on 2 separate days that’s why the limits look more, Coho salmon are 2 per day in Alaska and I follow the regulations very strictly there also was 3 of us fishing, personally I don’t keep much fish I’m more of a let them go so they can grow, I’ll keep a salmon every now and then too do a catch and cook!
My best friends cousin is a local from that spot and showed us the area, always try and protect the environment and spots here and especially the ones that are a bit hidden and loved by residents, Personally don’t take too many salmon for myself but I appreciate you for watching the videos
I love these type of videos...it's been too long since I've been fishing in AK, and not sure I'll ever get to go again. Thanks
Alaska is stunning. Enjoyed the video.
Appreciate it!
So cool to see on video! Thanks for an awesome weekend of slaying salmon 😁
That water is perfect!
Great video. I wish u had more clips of the takes. Cuts to reeling in most of the time. Beautiful locations tho
I live in Missouri but I love fishing and I've always wanted to fish in Alaska and Oregon 😋both beautiful places

Looks like they were poaching too. They caught 6 or 7 at the first place then moved to another area down stream and took another bunch.
