Because of where the paint is on most every club (the back) the paint essentially never comes off. The paint I recommended is safe for soap and water so unless you get something abrasive in there, it really doesn't wear off.
Sure, yea! As long as the paint is into a recess in metal you can. However, many new drivers use decals that they overlay on carbon fiber. That you cannot change.
Usually clubs are not engraved but rather stamped. I don't know of any place that will engrave a club but I'm sure you could find one. As far as stamping goes. Any club fitter or builder should be able to do it.
