are you sponsored or something? comment sounds cookie cutter. Definitely not the best memory cards, CF express A is slower and more expensive than CF express B cards. Sony is coming out the a7r5 which uses type A cards because they didnt want to make their Grip (which is already too small) any bigger, even though everyone has been asking them to make it bigger for years. I don't know who is more out-of-touch. You thinking these are the best memory cards, or Sony in regards to what their customers wants are.
@@DavidVRUclips They are the best CF Express Type A cards in the market, no one is talking about other types of memory cards. Sony’s Cinema Line (other than FX9) and new Sony mirrorless cameras doesn’t accept type B, your comment is completely out of context. They are expensive but they have amazing performance and reliability.
Absolutely not. The price on these things is totally insane. I can buy a 2TB NVME Gen 4 SSD with 10x the transfer speeds 7000 MB/s read and write for £150. This is £210 for 80GB?! What the hell are you smoking Sony?
A type A SD card is a lot smaller than a SSD, if you want to record on a SSD, just buy a Ninja V and do it like that. The CF-express type A cards are more for People who need very fast writing speed without having to carry anything else with them besides the camera and lens.
The Reason they're using Type A in the first place is because they can make multi slots with CFExpress type A Cards and SD Cards, that you cant do with type B
yeah, 650 dolars for 320 gb, this is the problem, i will choose tybe b 512 gb for 179 dolars any time!!!!! 320 gb for the price of a good lens!!!! or i can buy a laptop for that price and theater...so this is your negative point
The Problem with Type B is it's size. Sony doesn't want to make their grips bigger and wants to keep the SD/CF-express double slots. The price of Type A really is out of this world tough, don't see any reason to buy them when you can just use V90 cards for Photos and cheap SSD's + Ninja V for Video
@@lasarith2 A 128gb V90 sd card is cheaper than a 80gb CF express. The Capacity is there, the sony SF-G serie cards go up to 256GB, you can get some 512GB from Lexxar and Prograde tho.
Actually it is not enough for all-intra footage at 100/120FPS and 200/240FPS. A CF-Express TypeA is required for the best quality possible shooting high frame rates. Also the offload speed is much faster, more than double. Hope that helps.
@@FlipDeRiviera Thanks for the reply. I tested all in-machine formats on my Sony FX6 with v90 sd card, even all-intra 4k@120, and the files were fine, at least I didn't see any noticeable problems. I also have a Sony FX30, and the results were the same. Would you be able to test it to verify my results? If you find some issues please tell me.
Best memory cards in the market.
Super fast and reliable, totally recommend for professional work.

Brilliant memory cards, insanely fast and built like a tank.
160Gb offload in just 3 minutes with Sony MRW-G2 card reader.
This is all ridiculous, let's just get nvme support
Super slow lol. Might as well use v90 sd cards
The insane price point for Type A is one of the biggest letdowns- Type B is 1/3 the price and faster… 😔
Yeah it must be for thermals or size. Plus they don't go past 160gb. Defeats purpose if you need speed for larger codecs
@@martin_woodthere are 640gb so what about those. Expect that they are the price of a Sony ZVE-1 kit 😂😂😂

It’s absurd how expensive these cards are.
One 640gb card costs 1300€...
Well, i guess this really only is for the hardcore enthusiasts that want the best of the best no matter the price
and 512GB CFexpress Type B under 250€ :/
@@mk-movie4102 Type A Cards are a lot better tho because you can make slots with CF Express + SD because of its small size
@@celestial_78 its only one advantage
@@mk-movie4102 Yup, a pretty huge one in my opinion tho. But the Price is just out of this World

Very fast, but the price is beyond unacceptable. Utterly ludicrous pricing!
Lemme guess, they're a rack each
GO EUROPE OR USA BUY CHEAPER POOR QUALITY
Will this support in Sony FX9
?
Very good card but very expensive. Please make the new α7 compatible with CFExpress Type B cards.

I already sold my soul for the 160gb ones.
Yes they cost much
😶
$1500 probably for the 320gb card… and damn I have two slots lol
Actually €710 for the 320GB.
wow
Best think for businesses, did not for us😮😮😮
Why Type A over price ????
I can buy a camera but can't buy this card because very expensive
Give us a launch date for 6400 ii

Awesome 👍
Todo bien pero porque son tan caras!
1TB model now $10,000
They are nearly as expensive as the cameras. Makes no sense.
Perhaps you could release a slightly cheaper version for only 100Mbit recording ~ low end and high end recording.
Just buy the V90 sd cards

Just buy them online. If your local retailers dont have any V90 SD Cards above 64GB, they will to 100% not have any CF-Express cards at all
Lets be honest Sony knows how to manage my money better than I do so I might as well get a sweet memory card out of it.
