These are so cute! Have you considered using a ruffle flower in place of the button? My grandma always made the towel topper connected to the towel and she would put a bit of ruffle at the end of the strap to pull through the button hole. I'm going to try it with your pattern. These seem like they would be so much easier to use 😊
TY Lisa I love the embellishments and ur easy instructions …..great idea with ring I’ve been using metal rings from Hobby Lobby and they do get expensive….great tips❤️
This are so pretty, I made some with the large pony tail holder, mine aren’t as cute as yours, I also do the crochet towel for the stove, and the ones with the pot holder. I stared, making them a few years ago, for gifts for my daughter, daughter in laws (2) and my granddaughters, they don’t cost a ton, and they are made with love. Myself I love them, they’re so handy too. I always give them a couple at a time, always so many holidays plus birthday and just because gifts. I’m kind of slow and usually broke. But I’m always checking on clearing sales. Thanks for sharing. God Bless
I find adding glue to the ring as I go stops any future slipping when putting the towel in and out. Just need to be careful not to put too much it saturates the yarn. Beautiful patterns.
I bought the flower pattern Lisa recommends. It does not work for me as it seems there is a flaw in the pattern. Would you mind sharing the free flower pattern with me?
I bought some bangle bracelets for kids Birthday gift bags. They work really well.Another great source is the bracelets from India. You can get them very reasonably. They are not as thick as these ones but leave more room for a thicker cloth.
I just wanted to share that I purchase kids bracelet packs from The Dollar Tree. They have circles, hearts, flowers, and butterflies. 10-12 in a package making them 8-10 cents each!!!!
After crocheting the ruffle, I continued single crocheting around the strap with the same color yarn. It made it look very pretty, more finished. How much do you think you could sell these for at a craft show? I was thinking $10.00 without a towel. $15.00 with a towel.
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Thank You so much for this tutorial. I made one as I watched, such a quick and easy pattern. Love that you can switch out your kitchen towels with this holder. Thanks for sharing! Blessings 💕
There's no written pattern because there's not much to it. There is a link in the description for additional ones that I made that can be purchased on Etsy that are written (they are not my patterns). Thanks!
Thank you so much for showing this project, I’ve been planning on making some of these for gift giving, it is so nice to see different ways of making them! 🤗💕
I'm not sure what you mean. It's hard to tell without seeing it. You will see in the video the flower has a button hole in the middle. You put the flower around the button on top of the flap. So button is sewn to bottom, the flap has button hole in it & flower goes around button on top of the flap. I used #4 worsted weight yarn & had no problems. Are you using a different weight yarn?
You can sell them for $5 you can make two scrunchies for your hair they sell at the flea markets for 5 or 3i song $4 scrunchies for your hair at the making and selling $4 it only costs about a quarter to make one you can't sell stuff to hide people don't want it
You could try. They would be flimsy and you would risk breaking them once you tried to stick a towel through them. They are not very strong. And most companies are going away from using them because of the detrimental effect on marine life.
It goes through/around the button. If you click on the Etsy link for the flower pattern in the description you will be able to see the photograph of it.
It's a pattern on Etsy. It is not mine. www.etsy.com/listing/664106866/crochet-pattern-to-make-a-paw-print?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=paw+print+towel+ring&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&sts=1&dd=1&content_source=3b285690bfb76c9c896d29326d36922ee1d1a701%253A664106866&organic_search_click=1
I know it’s hard to understand what I meant. Yes, I do have a hole in the flower but when I put the flower on the button, it just doesn’t stay on. I tried to make the hole smaller but then the button won’t fit thru the flower. Thanks
That's interesting. I made a ton of them and didn't have any problems. I use I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby and it's very soft and works very well. If you are using a stiff yarn like Red Heart SS, that might be the difference. Maybe try different yarns. I wish I had a better answer.
I bought the flower pattern Lisa used in this video. The pattern does not work for me as it seems flawed. Did anyone else have issues with this pattern? Thanks!
Lisa I love the detail of your channel. Thanks so much for sharing
I ordered the plastic rings from amazon & have been using them as you suggested they work great.

Lisa, I love this pattern, and the color you used. Thank you for this pattern. I am making 2 for a gift. Thank you so much.❤❤❤
I like the info you shared in the beginning! Very helpful. Thank you!
This are very easy instructions. I have crochet the pony tail rings before. I like the single crochet stitches.
Thanks!

I bought children's bracelets @ Dollar Tree 2 1/2 " ring & you get 10 for $1.00 I think that may be the best price out there.
Great idea! We have a similar shop in the UK I think...£1 store. Will be having a look next time I'm there. Thank you!
❤great idea. I got plastic shower curtain (clear) rings @ Walmart. 12 for &1.97…I did e 6000 glue so they would not open
I find adding glue to the ring as I go stops any future slipping when putting the towel in and out. Just need to be careful not to put too much it saturates the yarn.
Beautiful patterns.
Thanks, I did try it again and worked out fine. I think I needed to chain more at the start of my flower, was too tight the first one I made.
I found a free pattern for the flower & been using them like you do. Thank you for your tutorials.
I already bought the pattern, but is this a video pattern? I would love to see a video of it. Thanks!
Me too 😊
I bought the flower pattern Lisa recommends. It does not work for me as it seems there is a flaw in the pattern. Would you mind sharing the free flower pattern with me?

You're welcome!
I am curious what size button did you use for the towel rings with the removable flower?
Where can I find the flower pattern? I love your tutorial!
Beautiful 😍
I love the pattern. Having trouble getting my flower to stay on the button, doesn’t seem to be enough room under the button. Suggestions?

Cute
what's wrong with using the six-pack plastic rings like you use for Christmas decorations?
You could try. They would be flimsy and you would risk breaking them once you tried to stick a towel through them. They are not very strong. And most companies are going away from using them because of the detrimental effect on marine life.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this idea!!!! Thank you so much!!!
You are welcome!

I use wooden rings from Amazon
Where do you get your rings from
Are you able to share the pattern for the paw towel ring holder?
It's a pattern on Etsy. It is not mine. www.etsy.com/listing/664106866/crochet-pattern-to-make-a-paw-print?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=paw+print+towel+ring&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&sts=1&dd=1&content_source=3b285690bfb76c9c896d29326d36922ee1d1a701%253A664106866&organic_search_click=1

Where do put the button if you do the flower?
In the same place as in the video. The flower will go on top after you fold over the strap and around the button. Hope that makes sense.
I bought the flower pattern Lisa used in this video. The pattern does not work for me as it seems flawed. Did anyone else have issues with this pattern? Thanks!
Maybe I can help if you tell me where you had problems.
I can’t find where you shared the flower pattern on Etsy can I plz share it with me..
