I just found out Gizmo died. I am sorry for your loss. I know his loss is hard on you. The only family I have are my two senior dogs and I know it is coming. My prayers are with David and all of you. I am looking forward to when he is back home. Thank your sons for their service. I enjoy your videos. You both are adorable and I thank you for sharing your lives with us. There is a lot of work making these videos.

So sorry about Gizmo. Our dog turned 16 this year, she was diagnosed with kidney disease recently. After changing her diet she is doing much better. You have to enjoy every day with them, 🐕🤗

It takes a long time to get over loosing a beloved pet like Gizmo. We have a small picture of each of the dogs we have had over the years on a shelf in our home.

I think a bench for Gizmo would be awesome. It may work better in the new areas of the Villages. You probably have more viewers down there because they may have watched your show before moving there and are familiar with Gizmo. The older neighborhoods may not watch you because they are already established there and not searching living in the Villages where they could find you. That picture of you both having dinner as youngsters is wonderful.

I drove to Wesley Chapel a couple of weeks ago from Ocala to take a friend to an appointment. Then we drove from Ocala to the GA mountains and back a week later. All this was on I-75. They had constant speed checks up ahead. I have never seen so many police cars alongside the road and cars pulled over by police. I love cruise control too. By the way, it was wonderful to see all the fall leaves in the GA mountains.
Costco is the best place to get glasses. Top notch lenses and super affordable.

High school classmate lived in New Port Ritchie. Her husband retired from the fire department. Now living in mountains of North Carolina.

Talk to an eye doctor. I believe I read that a hat with a good brim is usually more important than dark glasses. The problem with sunglasses is that your pupils open wider, letting more harmful rays reach the lens in your eye.

I went to Michigan last weekend and wondered how I ever drove and read a map at the same time and lived to tell about it!! Being directionally challenged, GPS has been a lifesaver!!

We had the same problem with road noise. In fact, ours was so loud we thought we had a bad wheel bearing. Turned out it was the tires. We have low profile tires on our Avalon. We replaced them with Michelin Cross Climate's, and the road noise disappeared! Michelin tires are pricy, but we got a really good deal at Belle Tire. Let us know if your road noise issue gets resolved.

Yes, cataracts are caused by overexposure to UV light. You really need to spend a little more and get sunglasses with polarized lenses for the best protection.
Newest Costco opening in Clermont just before Thanksgiving. Only 36 minutes from St Catherine but tolls on Florida Turnpike. 55 Minutes no tolls.

I ran into Stevie Wonder coming out of the restroom on a plane to Maui years ago-probably 25 years ago. I was so in awe that I couldn’t speak, somehow he knew I was standing nearby, so he approached me and put his hand on my head-probably shouldn’t touch people today though.

We have been there several times, and we do enjoy it.
Here are a few ideas for a memorial to Gizmo. At my shelter in Coeur d'Alene, we can sponsor the new cages for cats and dogs and they put a plaque on it with the memorial information. If something new is being built, you can purchase bricks which are marked with the name you are remembering. Also, if you really want a bench, maybe you can just put one in your own backyard or maybe at a dog park within the Villages. I like the idea that the money is going for something good as well as it being a memorial. Thanks for the fun drive with you!

I believe there is a Cosco in Clermont which should be closer than the one Tampa.
This was fun to watch! When i drove cross country and used my phone for directions it was over heating. So i covered it with a cloth to keep the sun off and pointed on air conditioner vent to cool it. It was cool after that. Love your show!
