I know stories like these are supposed to be a human ego booster... But water is the most common material not just on earth, but everywhere. There is NO way that only earth life is immune to it
So how can all these different species be in the same chamber, supposedly breathing the same air, when their biologies are so different? One that evolved in sulfuric acid, another based on ammonia, a third that was methane based and still another from an ice world (what type of ice please?). They would all need protective environmental suits or chambers. I doubt they could survive in each other's environments.
I'm picturing something like the Galactic Senate in the Star Wars prequels but each of the platforms the different species have are mini biodomes. Either that or they are wearing suits but it's just not mentioned.
I'm just a dumb Jarhead, but I thought the initial point was that many species are deathly allergic to Di-Hydrogen Monoxide...so how would purifying it matter...Sorry, but my Marine brain envisioned galactic warfare with humans crushing any xeno opposition with SUPER-SOAKER 50'S!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
And our blood would be acid to them. Plasma is the water part of our blood. Lol even spiting would be acid to them. Every bodily fluid is water based. Our sweat, or pee, even our sneezes, we are the worst ones to fight even our organs and bodies would be acid to them.
That was confusing me as well, especially when the human started talking about agriculture. If all these aliens' biologies are such that water is a lethal threat, wouldn't the flora and fauna on their worlds also be 'deathly allergic' to water?
This would get confusing if a human mentioned the rare case of humans that are allergic to contact with water. (Despite those with that condition, they are able to drink water, they just can't get it on their skin).
On Earth the pH scale goes from Super Acid to Super Baseic in numbers, a pH of -7 to a pH of 16 . Using my Texas Instrument BA 2 Plus. I believe that a Super Baseic World will have a pH as low a pH of 4 to a pH as high as pH of 75 . Also a Super Acid World could have a pH scale going from as low as pH of -67 to a pH as high as pH of 9.
Water's poison,,???? And all the alien interest. EH? SERIOUSLY This story aaaaarrgh. I can't cope, i gives in,I've gotta be stupid because this story makes no FUCKING sense...x
Current humidity 45% at our first destination on Earth. They all perished on the first breath.
Maybe salt water
They would all die in the US south at 80+ % humidity LOL
Come to Utah, it's only 25 on a good day
@@vividdawn913Greetings from PA, current humidity 77%. Decreasing as it continues to rain.

True. It’s no coincidence that numerous UFOs have been witnessed sucking up water.
Not only that, life cant really exist without a stable, non-volatile solvent like water to carry nutrients around the body
@@n30p47h1cyeah it's best not to take these stories seriously I see it as fantasy that pretends to be scifi
@@Lumberjack_kingDon’t really mind much tbh.

Oh, you think that's amazing...
Behold!!!!! FISH!!! Fear our tuna!!
The aliens: water kills us
So you don’t use a bath then. Got it I’ll stay upwind of you.
They use something similar to water I guess, like for example liquid methane

Just imagine them going to Africa and the people going "Clean water? Never heard of it."
So a fire hose would be considered a weapon of mass destruction?
And my swimming pool would be an arsenal?
Talk about cheap ammo!!!!
Man id have shown em wake boarding or something. Thatd blow their minds
If water does what this video says just imagine what the actual deadly acids would do.

I am more worried by our breathing also has small amounts of water, our coughing, even the air of earth's humidity.

.50 cal super soakers sounds good. Or maybe bullets made with super frozen water that do damage like a bullet then melt.

"Water... a substances a substance that, to most galactic species, was as corrosive as acid." Almost like water is in fact an acid.

If water is toxic to them then desalinization would concentrate the effects.
Humans: water is to us as Ammonia or Methane is to the respective Alien races...
So, if I pee'd on an ammonia based life form, would it melt?
No it will thrive cause our pee has amonia too
and no comments about snow or ice?
