Demonstration: Buoyancy Stability of Floating Objects

MEC516/BME516 Fluid Mechanics: A physical demonstration of the stability of floating objects. The model boat is stable when the center of mass is below the metacenter. When the center of mass is above the metacenter the model boat is unstable and overturns.

I wish we had a fluid mechanics lab in my uni, would've made things a lot easier!
