I’m wondering if something happened. It didn’t look like this with Monsta X. These women have had every kpop group on to come into the US even the ones that weren’t on the bigger shows like GOT7 and Monsta X. So I love them.
I gave it a 👍 but if GDNY wants to continue bringing Kpop idols on then they should make improvements on the lighting and the camera crew should work on their angles. Straykids did a great job and Rosanna and Lorie are always welcoming.

The news stations don't really have a budget for lighting most of the time, I wonder if they could have performed on the Wendy Show though which generally has better lighting and in that area
Kyu it’s a news show so they don’t film the same way other shows would, they’re typically supposed to film the seated anchors (of which typically only consist of 2-4 people at a table) so adapting to a different film style on the spot is awkward. When shows are actually doing what they typically do then their quality is usually a lot better and on par with that of Korean news stations. When you mention korean shows you’re probably thinking of variety shows or talk shows which are more suited for this type of filming, Kpop idols don’t really come onto news stations in Korea because they aren’t really considered “news” there
Hyena It’s an actual talk show. Like...Kelly and Ryan. Idk the equivalent in Korea. But this is a local NY news station. These anchors have been promoting kpop with all their hearts. I’m pretty sure they’re actual fans. Especially of Monsta X. They LOVE them.
