- Welcome back all you Regs, and to all you Shinies, welcome to the most mediocre podcast in the Star Wars universe!
We've got another awesome review here for you! This time, it's the Lucasfilm 50th General Grievous figure inspired by the 2003 Clone Wars series. I've been seeing this figure get a lot of negative attention since its announcement, and I wanted to make this video to defend the figure. It has become one of my favorite figures in my collection pretty quickly, and I wanted to share my opinions with you. We hope you enjoy this review, and we'll be seeing you all soon! -Tommy

I'd have to say that the color scheme alone makes this a great figure. I haven't gotten one yet, but after watching your review, it's highly probable that I will get one. Great review, a positive review is always a welcome one. 👍
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I'm happy Tom did the figure justice in the review. I'm excited to get another so i can display it out of box in all sorts of cool poses -Jackson
I just bought one and I’m excited to own this figure. I have the original black series figure but the plastic on the box cracked so he will be displayed and this one will be left in box.
Thanks for posting!
He’s a cool fig. Love the respect paid to the Gendy micro-series. Glad to see they tightened things up a bit for this version.
Yeah, I didn't know what to expect looking at the figure when I first opened him, but after seeing the joints were tightened up, I feel great about him -Tommy
I got the Bandai model and the first black series General Grievous. I took the cape from the black series with the lightsaber hilts and blaster in the pockets and pit it on the Bandai model. It is absolutely amazing how strong that model kit plastic can hold up that bulky cape better than the hasbro fig can.
That’s a really cool idea. Personally, I’ve never gotten into the model kits, do you think it’s worth a pickup? -Tommy
@@1313Podcast Absolutely worth it. It can stand on its own no matter what position you put him in. It might not be as durable as a hasbro fig but Bandai built that thing to be sturdy as can be. I would suggest taking your time with it during assembly, some parts are small and oddly shaped.
@@jdpragmatic8644 when I get one I’ll be sure to do a video on it!
I got mine some weeks ago, and I gotta say, I totally love it! It looks very well when you pose it in different ways.
Yeah, I think the color scheme really helps this figure shine. The bright white with the blueish-grey accents make it stand out on the shelf -Tommy
Glad to hear all this, I love this color scheme for grievous so was very excited for this one. Great review!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it -Jackson
Great Review of a Beautiful Figure. I love the 1 leg pose so much.
The one leg pose really helps to bring out the character so well -Jackson
@@1313Podcast absolutely the fight with him vs Ki Adi Mundi before the Arc Troopers arrive is by far one of my favorite Star Wars moments.
I have always wanted this figure but the only tiny gripe I have is that he does not have the lightsaber pockets
If I see him up on Walmart I’ll definitely pick him up. My main goal for this wave ish is mace windu. Awesome review Tommy!
Hey thanks! Grievous has been popping in and out of stock recently so keep your eyes peeled👀 -Tommy
Good Review Tommy. I ultimately passed on him but for all who got him he looks really cool. I actually love the Original Black Series version so this version is a 10/10 for me as well.
I think if they ever did a re-release of the original Grievous they should do whatever they did with this one for the joints. So happy with him -Tommy
If I may suggest tho, maybe shine the light onto the figure when doing close up? If that's possible, because I couldn't see the head very well when you attempted to show the detail. Other than that great review tho I am gonna buy him now
Awesome! Thanks as well for the suggestion! We realized after the shoot that if we want to do more figure reviews away from the set that we need to work on the lighting some more -Jackson
Epic Villain. Love it!
He deserves some respect 😤 -Tommy
Dang who made that thumbnail 🤔🤔🤔
Chill now 💀 -Jackson
I agree 100% with you! I absolutely love this figure!
I think my favorite part about it is the color. It’s very striking and intimidating -Tommy
Is it still being sold in Walmart for retail price?
It comes in and out of stock frequently -Tommy
Ahhh haha you're making me wanna get him now lmaooo. I've been iffy on him for ages
Your time has come, do it 😈 -Jackson
@@1313Podcast you making me poor brother ahahaha
I’m only getting this because the original Grievous is expensive af
You won’t be disappointed, this Grievous is great! -Tommy
Cool figure although it would have been better if Jackson did this review
I just got him today and I like how he's repainted to better resemble 2003 Grievous who was an OP monster in that series and I love the retro packaging. Never got to own the original so nice to have this arguably better version. It will make a fine addition to my collection.
Though you are incorrect about the cape. The outside was white but the underside was red.
Wrong. This is from when he fights Mundi, Shaak Ti and Aayla, where the cape is all white. He only has white and red in the 200e3 series around the time of the battle of Coruscant.
Hard pass
