It’s because he can only produce a basic fry scream and is attempting to cover heavier music that requires false cord screams or more advanced fry techniques
Would be nice if you could cover „Defy“ by Of Mice and Men, youve been able to sing these high clean vocal lines of obsolete and Defy could be a nice challenge fir you, especially the harmonic shift of the last chorus

those long screams are hard to pull off for me lol, good cover though.
you would not have been able to hit the 8 second scream in the beginning using false chord. I’m a little disappointed this was done with vocal fry. Otherwise, sounds great!
