i've been playing guitar for 25 years and this is truly the coolest video I've seen about scales.....great job definitely...you actually demystified some stuff that many people struggle with, cause they sound/look pretty difficult or made in a way that they look so...schools really need guys like you...the best way of teaching and letting people enjoy...only people who master things are able to explain them in the simplest possible way...

Thank you for making the circle of fifths theory linear, which makes more sense to me. It is an amazing light bulb moment. The Roman numeral note assignment now makes sense as well. i have been trying to understand chords for the whole time i have bene "teaching myself guitar", for a year now. This seems way to simple to work, but it does. Damn good video.
As a guy who is musically illiterate, and who just fucks around and finds out what notes and chords work. This looks almost understandable compared to a lot of other "simplified" music theory videos, almost like I could learn, and then apply it or something.
Holy fuck this video is incredible. So simply animated and put into words things that just make sense. I have been playing guitar for a couple years now and have always put off learning music theory cause I figured I could just figure it out along the way but this helps so much with understanding what I have actually been doing. This is legitimately one of the best music theory videos I've ever seen my entire freaking life. I don't even know how to actually play any instruments...yet.
I'm a guy who never actually learned guitar but I know how to play some songs (I can play the last of us theme, the solos for Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, Hurt by Johnny Cash, Through The Valley from the last of us, and Blackbird By The Beatles. And that's it. I know 7 chords by heart, A minor, D, C, Cmaj7, G, Em, E)). I recently wanted to try and actually learn the instrument because I want to try and write my own songs eventually, even if they're elementary. I didn't realize I needed this to write songs that actually sound pleasant. This video helped a lot.
