The retinol and tea tree oil could be aggravating the redness, they have an irritant potential, La Roche posay have a vitamin b5 balm that is great for all sorts of redness, burns etc. it’s a £10 for 100ml on offer at boots and lasts ages. Also make sure to wear sunscreen, retinol makes your skin very sensitive to UV rays
Those jar glasses have been around for years now......People are also using standards jam jars and drinks jars for a bit of nostalga......Americans in the south would use jam jars for iced tea and Lemonade during the depression.
