I think what makes Bill Burr more likeable for people who do not really like stand up comedy is that Bill Burr is an AMAZING STORYTELLER! You can visualize and relate with what he is saying.
You know whos also amazing storytellers? Patrice O'neal and Joey Diaz. Uncle Joey's stories are ridiculous but hes so good at telling them even on podcasts you can listen for 30 min.

I love your Bill Burr reactions, please do more. Gaynor, you're a riot! I remember back in the 70's and 80's in the US there were always loose dogs in the neighborhood. We used to let our dog out as well. She'd be gone for hours at a time. You'd have to yell your head off calling her name and maybe after 20 minutes she'd be back. My brother and I, on several occasions, would get chased. It was just a part of all of our childhoods! LOL! It was an unremarkable event that caused children mild stress. No adult you told was ever very concerned about it, including my parents. HAHA!

Everyone gets intrusive thoughts occationally. I remeber seeing or reading somewhere that its due to a momentary connection between our conscious and subconscious. We think about things that we shouldnt do subconsciously but that bleeds into our conscious thoughts. It's something we'd never actually do but you may even get a slight urge to do it. Next time your on a roof, pull out you phone and see if you dont get the ever so slightest urge to toss it off the roof, lol. Or something like that.

Speaking about thinking things and not doing them, I used to teach in a high school. Several times as I was driving there, I considered driving right past the school and going to another city. I loved my job, but sometimes you just don’t want to go to work.

Intrusive thoughts are the worst.
I felt so much better learning everyone gets them, but for years I'd get quite distressed by them.
And I learned the way to handle them from a video here on RUclips: you just tell yourself "This is an intrusive thought: it doesn't mean anything." Repeat as many times as needed.
I can only speak for myself, but it really did work that easily. I still get them like everyone does, but they don't linger and ruminate like they used to. They go almost as quickly as they arrived.

When I was a young guy just starting out I got a job building houses. My Boss/Foreman was a real A-Hole for no reason. One day he was on his hands and knees working on the floorboards. I was standing behind him and he asked me for a Hammer. At that moment I thought to myself "I could bury this Hammer into the back of his head" and at that point I just started laughing. Better yet within a couple of months I had a Union job making more than double what he made.

What happens with me is that when I go to the market. Its totally irrational to think I'm going to have the whole store to myself. But still.. I mean for me Its like, there is always someone in the aisle at the section, where I want to grab something that I need. And its always the same. They just stand there, with this moronic look on their face like have never seen bread before, and have no idea what it is used for. Its like when you go to the drive-thru at a fast food place, like McDonald's. Unless you are newly arrived from planet dumbass. You know what McDonald's serves. But I seem to always get behind the idiot who just stares at the menu board with their mouth open. And you can hear them. 'Uhhhh, can I get a cheeseburger, and what comes in that?" And they always have one stupid kid who wants a pizza, or something that is totally not served at a McDonald's. That person ordering is dumb enough to ask if they serve it. And I'm just like Oh my god!! Why don't you just order five idiot burgers for you and failed offspring, with a side of stupid fries and pull through! I mean how did you even know how to start your car to drive here..
