Long time watcher - first time commenter - thank you for sharing your journey...very informative and creative. I look forward to watching your next creative piece.
Fantastic work I had an idea for doing something similar but making it a fire for the back garden, would be spectacular a viking funeral ship next to my forge ♨️ keep up the great work
Oscar, great work on the ship I have started using rivets more in projects after your example. Not totally successful as yet. I have noticed the fly press in your workshop, it would be interesting to see you using that at some time as I have one also. Cheers Peter
Brilliant work my man! Awsome forging adventure for sure! I have been creating a longship based on the Gokstad drawings, my medium is balsa, basswood and bamboo. You really have reinvigorated my own mission by producing this wonderful series, to be enjoyed by makers all over the world. Keep it up son!
You've done such a fantastic job on this amazing project! It has turned out so good, you should definitely see about displaying it somewhere! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to partake on this project by making the shields, I certainly feel proud to have mine on there! Take care Oscar, I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos!

Amazing job Oscar but my wife is pissed with you mate. She wants to know how much it weighs lol I said 50kgs she said 30kgs
Thank you! I think it only weighed about 6kgs! So not that heavy!
Cheers mate. Only 6kgs man that was a heap of steel.
@@fenrisforgeaustralia it felt a lot heavier when making it!
