He didn't say it in the video, but at the beginning, start spinning the left stick before Mario wakes up, jump, and immediately ground pound and start shaking to start rolling faster.
There is one more improvement at the end of cap kindom. You have to choose the left path to let to the top of the hay by performing a triple jump of the first broken blanco oddesey.
No-one said they were difficult it's just adding more inputs for very beginner runners is not a great idea and usually they are not faster so no real point.
As a beginner, spinpounds are like the hardest thing for me. Idk why but I just cant seem to get them. Still working at it and it will come with time but as a beginner they are not easy
Spin pound rolls mostly lose time but just spin pounds to get buried moons are faster and just messing around and practicing are the best way to learn them
Although my PB is a 1: 17, and some of the movement was a little slow-looking from my perspective, the video was still helpful and entertaining! I can't wait for more!
Quick Question I'm On 1.3 Physical and I've heard that physical does not get the time boost is that true and if so should I factory reset to be able to do some other tricks that are 1.0/1.1 exclusive
@@asc2276 There are a lot of cubers/former cubers that also speedrun smo! One of the smo routers used to be a cuber as well! There has to be at least a dozen out there, maybe more
By using the bird you can knock it over. Then you can poke the mech with the bird to stay on as it stands up then I think the mech blasts you back then cap bounce on break bubbles get blasted away cap bounce back on time and repeat
One thing you missed is instead of doing right side you go to left side but dont use the hat you would usually use for left side qnd you keep going to another hat thats broken and then you gp from there and go up

Tomshi when I flick the lever before the frog room you somehow roll above the ground and when I do it I go through the bridge

1.3 is the only version you should be on, it's the fastest version.
