I put some 40mm leveling plates on top of the front springs surprising how much extra front diff ground clearance it gave not really been off road to test it yet but it looks a lot higher in the front and does not affect the handling on the road.

Thanks for the hint, I was looking into lift-kits, and probably a set of AT or MT tyres would make a big difference too.
Leveling plates seem cheaper than the lift kit though,

Yeah they're called Cherokee here - video is from the UK (hence right hand drive), but I believe they're called Cherokee on the continent too.
