OMG!! i just found your channel and I really like the way you explain things!!🖤 My mother was a seamstress when she was alive, and I've inherited her machines and tools. I know some basics but there's plenty of little details i wasn't sure on, like should i be cutting out double patterns or one at a time. I really appreciated hearing the way you choose details in the fabric pattern for your knee and center crease. My question is, is there a specific direction of working with this fabric if t were a solid color?? With stretchy fabric i have better sense of where I'd need the stretch to go, but with solids and non directional patterns, I struggle.
I'll definitely be on you channel from now on, asking questions!! My partner has been wanting me to make him some tailored trousers with an asymmetric over-skirt (like Yohji Yamamoto), I'm sure Ill get tons of great knowledge from your content!!🖤🖤

Thanks for your lovely comments and support .On plain fabrics especially wools ,you can cut both up and down..but on patterns fabrics you can't especially on piles like corduroy or velvet .. .
Always take your time when cutting out any design ..You need to be as accurate as you can.
      Good luck .
