Thank you, Elizabeth! I'm researching how I can use ChatGPT for my product proof-of-concept and your video is a great overview from the view of a real lawyer.
Thanks for showcasing different use cases. Would be interested to see a new video comparing new tools e.g. AI Lawyer, DoNotPay, or even Bing AI which gives you cited sources
As the founder of an AI company, I have heard so much misconceptions about AI so I really appreciate your detailed description of how AI works (i.e., recognizing patterns).
Good day. A fellow employee (instructed by an upper) created policies for the accounting firm using ChatGPT… is it still legal? If it aligns with the constitution sure I guess? But isn’t there a loophole somewhere? I feel that there probably is. I am from South Africa (legal context).
So ChatGPT is good at creating policies that *sound* correct, but they may or may not be correct. You would need to have them reviewed by a lawyer or another professional (an HR consultant may be able to review employment policies) to be sure.
What does "operating in the City of LA" mean for business license? Is providing a proposal, "operating"? Does advertising mean operating? Or the moment you actually sign a contract you are operating? Or when you actually provide services to someone in the City you are operating? Or when you actually receive money you are operating?
Here's a list of activities that count, per LA Ordinance: (i) “ENGAGED IN BUSINESS” shall mean the conducting, operating, managing or carrying on of a business, whether done as owner, or by means of an officer, agent, manager, or employee. A person shall be deemed engaged in business within the City if: (1) such person or his employee maintains a fixed place of business within the City for the benefit or partial benefit of such person, or (2) such person or his employee owns or leases real property within the City for business purposes, or (3) such person or his employee regularly maintains a stock of tangible personal property in the City for sale in the ordinary course of business, or (4) such person or his employee regularly conducts solicitation of business within the City, or (5) such person or his employee performs work or renders services in the City on a regular and continuous basis involving not less than seven working days per year for all such employees, or (6) such person or his employee utilizes the streets within the City in connection with the operation of motor vehicles for business purposes.
Thank you! You are one amazing human being giving incredibly valuable comments and advice. You have answered so many questions for me. You should work for the State and change everything on their confusing websites that also causes others to repeat and echo the same confusing information everywhere on the web. Love your videos.

Thank You Elizabeth. 😍🌹🌹🌹
You're welcome!
Given that much US legal drafting is still done in the style of the 19th century, I reckon AI could make a pretty good job of it.
eh well most of the time AI is just copying the style of what has already been done, so it might just be more of the same
We were told by our civil procedure professor that we’re moving away from that style, and that they want pleadings to be written in plain English now
