Feels good to get back into running lads. After seeing Aqua beat the snot out of Ruiner using an Earplugs/Big Bang setup, I thought I'd give it a try. Earplugs being almost basically free on most Hammer setups now lends itself WONDERFULLY to Ruiner Nergigante, since all it does is scream if you play your cards right.
The setup at the start NEEDS a crit on the first golfswing otherwise Ruiner won't topple, you have to position yourself based on the lowest arm during the side jumps, and if you can predict when Nerg will de/re-enrage, you can add a triple pound to the start of a topple for a massive amount of damage.
Sure is a good improvement on the last run, eh?
