Compare Devin Townsend, who performed as well at Royal Albert, he didn't have to wreck his voice to show off extreme rage with his voice.

EDIT: a year later i can say this is what PAIN specifically feels like to me. got officially diagnosed with BPD and its symptoms can be confused with clinical depression's according to my psychiatrist, so technically i don't have depression, but i wrote this during a time in my life where i thought i had it. also have PTSD. pain still sounds like this to me, but angrier.
