I hope this is mostly accurate! Last winter (Philadelphia PA area) we got not ONE actual snowfall. It was the first time in my 30 years of life that I can recall this ever happening. I. Want. Snow!!!!!!!
Great job Andrew! I run a trucking company and travel weekly from Florida to Minnesota round trip. Last was absolutely brutal in Minnesota in regards to temperatures and snow. This outlooks great for the upcoming Winter. Thanks for sharing this great information.
Great job Andrew! Very clean presentation. I also like your utilization of those RadarOmega maps, they fit very well with your video. I also agree with your forecast fully. Keep it up!
The end of the La Niña, the El Niño now in the Pacific, and the growing "Eddy" Grand Solar Minimum, adds up to one thing: A lot more snow and much colder in the Upper Midwest, Midwest, Mid Atlantic, and New England. It also means that the Pacific Northwest will be warmer and dryer.
Happy about this?! I’m overjoyed about this! This means that there’s hope for an upcoming White Christmas and that those huge blizzards will leave snow totals that will help firefighters fight the major fires that they sometimes have to fight in the city so I’m very excited about this!
ICE.....that needs to be mentioned in this for those like us here in Oklahoma. I follow three other meteorologists and all have said that an ice storm, just like 2006, will be happening. Good job.
When you say mountain snow does that mean enhanced snowfall because I live in Salt Lake City and I am wondering if we will get a lot of snow or if we willl get rain
Hello from Spokane! Sorry if this has already been answered. So Spokane isn't going to get a lot of snow this winter? Are we looking more at rain or just no persp? Definitely looking forward to a more mild winter. Thank you
So you think the southern Appalachians will have a normal winter? I was hoping for much more. I thought an El Niño meant lots of snow for my area here in western NC.
Yeah I really do believe y’all will get some good snow this winter! I use to live in Virginia and every El Niño year for us in the mid Atlantic has been great :)
My forecast is based off observations of similar conditions we are in. If you look at a typical El Niño pattern as we shown in the video that’s what we will more than likely see
@@NWW116 I agree but with the atlantic ocean being the warmest ever recorded we have no data to compare anything to. which makes all predictions like yours sketchy at best
Very nice winter forecast looks like a strong el nino

I hear ya! Last couple of winters I’ve experienced between Virginia and Kentucky were light
I love it I'm in the southeast want a Big ❄️ storm which I do believe we will get this could be the season for us.
Great forecast as always!

Well I wish you great luck! I grew up in Virginia and always loved it when we got good snow!
You have a wonderful rest of the day too. Great info as always.

Quick Question:
How much snow do you think Syracuse New York could see? We haven't had a good winter in years!
Nice forecast Andrew
Thank you!
Love the haircut Andrew😁
My bees have stored more honey for winter than usual, so I expect a long, hard one here in SW, Missouri.
I hope we get some snow this winter in Nashville
Thanks!
You are very welcome!
Hoping southern middle Tennessee gets a good amount of snow this winter and a ton of cold.
I live here in NEPA and every El nino so far we end up getting several Big snowstroms/Blizzards/Nor'Easters during the El nino years.
How it was when I lived in northern VA had some big time snows
I googled the forecast for Astoria New York and although more precipitation is predicted, warmer tempuratures are also forcasted
ICE.....that needs to be mentioned in this for those like us here in Oklahoma. I follow three other meteorologists and all have said that an ice storm, just like 2006, will be happening. Good job.
Certainly is a solid chance considered that tropical jet will bring tons of moisture to the region.

I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Cambridge) I was wondering how much snow can we see here

A weak El Nino would mean similar to last Winter on the East Coast?
El Niños typically increase snowfall for the east so this year will be way beyond last years totals
No it means the opposite
Seems like the Southeast could see Winter storm warnings this year🎉🎉
👀
@@NWW116 Every Decade we get a couple of inches of Snow during El Niño year especially in a Moderate one
LOVE THIS!!!!!
As a north Carolina native I hope we get snow
You're not wrong about ninos in VA they are the best
2010 & 2016 big years! Good memories from those heavy El Niños
Second!
Your second!
Rocky mountain snow is all I care about this winter.
Thoughts on the Buffalo area? All forecasts I am seeing have us in the cross-hairs of different predictions.
I think you could see a few good snows but to your south west it’s usually a bit more dry which could affect your snowfall a bit
Bring some snow to Texas I accept the cool and wet
NOO why warmer!? 😂 will there still be cold days and snow?
I live in Florida, nothing usual here
make a video on hurricane lee.. its expected too go 200+ sustained possible (which is the max what is "possible")
No it’s not….
thats just what i heard @@NWW116
How much snow could pinch wv get this winter and witch section is pinch in

Nice vid but why is your room so dark lol
It was mostly early morning when I recorded it lol
Why does the farmers almanac show the midwest being colder and snowy? your forecast is the complete opposite. Now who do we believe.
