Yeah I am also very underwhelmed with CS2. I actually never believed I would ever say this or think of this, but I think I prefer Valorant way more over CS2. I have been retired since 2020, because I grew out the game, but I still joined occasionally to play with some old friends who still enjoy the game. I had enough fun to keep going for 2-3 games occasionally and that was it. CS2 though just feels like it was made out of wood to me, it no longer has what made CS fun for me. The movement feels clunkier now, the weapons feel more call of dutish than anything, the peeks are weird and boring to me and so on. Maybe it will grow on me eventually, but I am not interested in spending my limited amount of time on the game atm.
i absolutely agree with you, i used to burn nights and days with my brother just non-stop playing cs:go and it’s not the same anymore… i hope they will somehow bring cs:go back..
I disagree? Even though I have played CS:GO for a really small amount of time (56hr on steam account) and I genuinely suck big ass on CS, I feel like CS2 is better, albeit with bugs. I do realise launch is make/break point of the game, but I believe people don’t realise that games become genuinely better with updates (not all of them, sure). This video feels like a perspective of a professional player that plays on only one map where almost every wall is made of cardboard, imo. Feel free to disagree with me and I know I will be proven wrong in a record time, but I strongly believe that CS2 will become better after feedback, knowing Valve. Though, I completely disagree with the decision of removing CS:GO outright.
CS2 is bright = Roblox? Don't you think that it sounds dum :/ . Your favorite workshop maps will be ported by other players or by yourself, also we will find more new and better maps, because of how easy the new hammer is. It's always difficult to move to the new place, but then you will realize that you won't come back
I'm pretty sure you can still use csgo, with some beta testing thingy and a special code.(saw it in some video) And you can actually play some community servers and I'm not so sure, but workshop maps as well!
i kinda agree, the lighting on maps looks really cool but it's kinda oversaturated valve said it was for easier visibility for competitive play but that makes no sense

i wish cs2 was a seperate game. it litterally has a different name and csgo would stay...
I agree, CS 2 feels like a downgrade

CS2 is CSGO but with post processing effects and yanderesim level optimization

At the end of the day, we need to accept change, even if we don't like it good things need to come to an end, it's an axiom.
